In another round of bad timing, Chase did launch the new United Club card today. 100k introductory bonus for 5k in spend, $525 AF not waived.
I'm seeing mixed message on if it's a new card or not. On the landing page it says
"This product is available to you if you do not have any United Club card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for any United Club card in the past 24 months."
Bold mine, but that would follow with the leaked terms DoC has listed.
But if you open the actual offer details it reads "this card" rather than "any card". So unclear if you have to wait 24 months after getting the Visa Signature version bonus like we thought.
"100,000 Bonus Miles: This product is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of this credit card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of this credit card who received a new Cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months. "
Also interesting as I don't recall seeing this language on Chase cards before:
"
If your account is not open for at least six months, United and Chase reserve the right to deduct the bonus miles from your MileagePlus Program account."
DoCs post to compare for yourselves:
