Bonus posted on my Delta Gold Biz!! I don’t think I fully updated this yet because it was a weird weird situation and I wanted to see the bonus first.

Applied for delta plat biz- pop up.
Had DH apply for delta gold biz instead, “application error” (no popup, the page just crashed after submission)
Tried applying for Delta gold biz myself and seemed to go through no popup but then they had “no record of an application”when I checked.

I gave up here on any apps and then got an email DH was approved for the gold biz a few hours later. He confirmed the bonus was attached. A few days later we get a card in the mail FOR ME. So my application they had no record of (per online checker/ wasn't calling the bank on this) was approved. I just decided to meet the spend and see what happened since I had some annual bills due (like HOA). I’m so excited the bonus posted! And a good DP that not all cobranded cards will get the pop up.

It’ll be slow and steady on DHs Gold biz but we confirmed that one has the bonus so should be okay hopefully.

DS and I liked it but Wreck It Ralph has it beat by a mile. It was different than WIR though. There were a bunch of younger kids and I definitely it was not meant for a very young audience.

I’m confused about the water. Why would you need to stock up on water?

My Costco is limiting water/paper/cleaning items as well. Went in yesterday to do our normal shopping which includes 2-3 cases of water and they were completely out. I'm very picky about my water. I can tell when DH uses tap water instead of bottled when making coffee. Plus, with softball tournaments almost every weekend bottled water is just much, much easier. Thankfully (?) it wasn't hot today, but cold and rainy (2+ hours later and I'm still cold) so we didn't go through as much water. I'll be heading in there during the week in hopes of getting my 2 cases.

We homeschool and both work from home so, yes, we go through more water/tp than most households. I have no plans to stock up more than I normally have on hand though. I figure there will always be some place delivering items and the world isn't ending so need to spaz out and clear shelves.

Had this happen before and it was super weird. Was for DH's Aspire. He got the popup, then no popup/no record, then few days later tried again got popup (this was before I realized I probably shouldn't try so often, lol). 9 days later got the card in the mail. Got the SUB too.

For anyone who applied for the SW personal 2 tier offer- 40k RR for $1k and add’l 35k for $5k, have you seen the 2nd tier? I looked at DH’s and then freaked out that the offer didn’t track.

Yes. My account looked similar to your image until my 2nd statement posted. I didn't meet the full $5k spend until after my 1st statement closed.

I went to B&BW last weekend and they had hand sanitizer on sale. I bought some for our trip, but that is normal. I always carry some when we go away.

I went yesterday and our local store is completely sold out. They are also sold out online. I just wanted some for our upcoming trip too...I guess they sold out this week. I thought about going earlier but didn’t get a chance. Oh well.

It depends on what you like I guess. I think I’m weird in that I didn’t like Key West that much. But I don’t like water and my friends made me spend all day on a boat. I did have fun, but they snorkeled and spent time in the water and I stayed on the boat. They did make me ride a banana boat float thingy and I may have cried a little bit. Lol. Everyone was getting thrown off and I held on for dear life.

I have only been to New Orleans as a day trip but I’m sure you could add plenty of things to see there. The French quarter area would be a one day thing for me but there are cemeteries, the zoo, the World War 2 museum and other things to add.

If you like to drink either place is a great place. Lol.

Thanks for your reply! We love water and snorkeling and boating, so we sound like your terrible friends who thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
Now I'm thinking maybe we'll do just a 3 day trip to the Keys. And then a separate weekend trip to NOLA. We are about 8.5 hours from NOLA and don't mind driving.... we could leave early on a Friday, and then return on Sunday for just a quick little getaway. I'm not super interested in cemeteries, or zoos for that matter because I can see that anywhere. My husband loves history/war stuff but as long as I don't tell him there is a WW2 museum, he'll never know!

SW should create one for him and the account number should be on his Chase account.
