What are the odds of younger person being approved for CIP? DD24 needs to get rolling on her credit history. The only cc she has is a Discover Student card which she's had for about 2 years. She barely uses it. She also has a car loan plus student loans with perfect payment history. Total length of credit is 5 years.
I got my first CIP when I was 24

Just FYI 1990's isn't vintage yet :p I think it might charitably be close to "retro" but I think we're still in an 80's resurgence there.

Don't make us all older than we are yet, that time is coming up too fast on it's own!
(I now know how my parents must have felt now that music from my childhood is on the oldies stations.... And just don't even go there about even listening to FM radio )
I honestly didn’t even pay attention to the year lol. I just saw that she said from way back and assumed it was older

I agree.

I love Ethan Allen. Wish I lived closer to @Judique because I have a ton of their country french furniture. I think it's classic:)

I don’t get it either. Unless people just want to stock up on essentials Incase they don’t want to go out later.
I think that's part of it, if you end up quarantined you may not have much warning, so get it laid in now. Also, many are making plans to stay in more, whether schools get temporarily closed or adults decide to work from home, so more essentials will be used than normal. I know many don't think about it, but generally in a given week you'd use other facilities about once a day. If you stay home that facility break is coming from your supplies. Multiply that by number of days and number of people in the house and you'd be using up rolls faster than normal.

Is everyone thinking about it like that? Nah. The rest of it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Where you see supplies dwindling, you don't want to be without, so you buy now before there's none left, multiplied by 10 and then like a run on a bank, a run on TP leaves some people that actually needed some SOL. No one wants to be SOL so you get fights in the TP aisle. Welcome to the crazy

I say this as a newly card carrying member since we needed TP this week and I have no idea what the landscape will be in a few weeks when I'll need more so I threw an extra pack on the order. I really don't want to join the TP aisle fights...

Odds are very high for approval. But don’t forget it will not show up on her credit report so will not help her later.
