Anyone here ever used or know much about Juicy Miles? I’m feeling extremely inadequate with my lack of knowledge of international flights and looking for guidance. I am not adverse to paying a fee to ensure I am maximizing the value of a redemption. Appreciate any input.

I may be remembering incorrectly but I think either @Calfan or @CaliforniaGirl09 used or uses Juicy Miles or something similar to help with redemptions due to a busy lifestyle. And also seemed pleased with the results.

Edit: search 'juicy miles' using either name above in the by member search field and it brings up some info from last year's thread.

It was a messy start to boarding groups for Rise today---people outside the parks were able to get BGs I got BG 37 from home and dropped it as soon as I could. I stared at my phone screen for a bit, trying to figure out why it said I had a boarding group instead of the "uh oh you're not in the park" message!

It was me, and I had a very positive experience. I had James at Juicy Miles book our First and Business flights on JAL for our upcoming trip to Japan because I was in Africa last summer when the booking windows opened for both our outbound and return flights. He was extremely responsive from the get go and strategized with me about the best currency to use. We ended up using MRs transferred to Qantas (with a 20% transfer bonus) to book the flights. He was able to get 2 First and 2 Business no problem. Happy to answer any questions here or by PM.

So, uuhhhhh.....we are just getting ready to embark on our churning adventure, and I got some spam mail from Chase yesterday for CIP 100k/$15k. Now, I'll be honest. $15k in 3mo is a big spend for DH unless he gets a couple of generator installs grouped together, and then it wouldn't be an issue. Is this an offer worth keeping around (it says it's good until the end of May) or is the spend-to-points ratio not that great?

It goes too fast to not know how the app, your phone etc will react. Plus it's helpful to see what it does so you arent flying blind.

No, but I used to have a phenomenal memory - almost photographic. It has faded with time and now appears in patches where memories are all jumbled together. Age.

Yesterday I went to lunch with a group that meets once a month - retirees from my job. I don't know them all, but it was interesting to gather with people who worked in similar surroundings and knew a lot of the same people. Most talk was about people and not the job and consisted of trying to remember names. We had to go through one ladies three marriages to get to a name all remembered.

Yes! I hopped over there to take a look. Looks like the in park CM's are not up to speed yet. Hope they get it all figured out! My speculation is that the system that monitors whether people are in park somehow glitched (obvious) as it seemed to me that the one recurring theme for the GET team was adding people who were in park but didn't auto load to a secured BG with their party. Maybe the 'fix' imploded on them.
