Any thoughts on the AMEX Green personal card? Is it worth going to 3/24 for? I will be getting a CIP, but that spend will be done in a couple of days, so I could use another spend, and that one is not huge.
Also if I get that now, will it hurt my Chase biz app at the end of the week (super dumb question), assuming I don't get a pop-up?
I posted some thoughts about the Amex Green when it was refreshed:

Since then, it's now possible to pull a better 45k MR SUB
with the $150 Away credit offer via support link (previously, only 35k MR w/$150 Away credit via support,
or 45k MR w/only $100 Away credit as a standalone app via incognito). If you have a P2 with an Amex card, P2 could support you to the Amex Green (or vice versa) and get the best of both worlds.

My wife got the Amex Green in November with the 45k MR w/ $100 Away credit incognito offer. I'm a bit miffed at the missed $50 Away credit, but it's been a great card for her. 3x MR at restaurants and 3x MR on travel fits her spend very nicely. I'd note that the 3x MR travel category is much broader than Amex's other "travel" category bonuses on other cards that are limited to things like purchases made directly with airlines, hotels, and bookings through Amex Travel. The Green is a direct competitor with the CSR in DW's wallet, and the Green has all but replaced her CSR in swipes since we're flush with UR and trying to build up her MR balance, and Amex values ongoing spend on their cards if you want to get more cards with no pop up vs. Chase.
The credits are designed to encourage you to spend on things that you might not have otherwise, so I can't value them at face value. The Away credit is useful if you're in a market for new luggage (we were, and purchased our DD an Away carry-on). But keep in mind that Away carry-ons start at $225 (minus a $20 support credit), so even with a $150 credit you'll be spending out of pocket. Being a free member of Delta or United's FF programs will get you a discount on CLEAR down to $119, but again the Green's $100 credit doesn't cover the whole benefit, much less if you're traveling with a companion or family. We have yet to find a use for the LoungeBuddy credit when we already have access to the Centurion, Escape, and Priority Pass lounges.
45k MR for $2k spend is a really good deal. Even better if P2 can support you to the Green (or vice versa). The bonus categories are solid. And if you can make use of the credits, it'll help to negate some of the AF. At 2/24 going to 3/24, I'd go for it since you'll still have 2 slots to play with and biz cards to keep you busy. But at 4/24? Probably not.
One more thing, the introductory offers on the Green end 1/15/2020, so decide soon.
