That’s good! I got flour last week from target. I have been trying to order disinfectant cleaner, but haven’t been able to find any. I may try to make a trip to the store in person next week.
The disinfectant spray is called microban. I’ve never bought it before. It seemed more expensive than other brands but I don’t mind paying more since it’s the only disinfectant spray we’ve found online since this all started

Has anyone asked for a retention offer on the AmEx Delta Gold card lately? This was my first AmEx card so I'd be a little sad to close it, but not sad enough to pay $95 to keep it.

My water broke with 4 of my 6. It was never a gush like the movies make it out to be. It's so interesting how all 6 labors were different, but some aspects were the same for all. My longest labor was my first and that was 12 hours. Shortest was just afew hours. I usually only dilate to a 5-6 and then within one contraction go to a 10 and pushing. So the first part of my labors are the long part and the last part is only a few minutes. Mine were all born at home with the same midwife.
I remember that feeling @Haley R when everything coming up was such an unknown. Life will never be the same once he is here. Even another pregnancy ( if you decide to have more) will be so different since you will be mothering throughout it. Cherish these last few days ♥️

I need a new way to keep track of cards, MSR, annual fees, due dates, etc. I'm the one who handles the shopping, what cards to get, what points we need, etc., but DH is the one who pays the bills. He feels overwhelmed keeping up with so many cards. I had a spreadsheet but it wasn't very effective. It was a copy of one I found online. How do you keep simple track of it all in a way that two people can follow?
At this point he's ready to only use cards for MSRs and then never again. Where I want to continue to take advantage of offers, category spending, etc. Plus there is keeping Amex happy as well.

Not too happy with chase at the moment was on the phone for almost 3 hours to get my accounts unlocked. They need to pursue alternate ways other than phone calls when your account has been locked. I was then told not to transfer from a linked account as that is what triggered it. Not sure if I'll complete the requirements for the bank bonus. Was told I should deposit cash at a branch to meet the savings requirement :sad2:

I also joined the bandwagon and downgraded my spg lux via account messenger. I'll cross my fingers for an upgrade offer, never thought I would downgrade because prior to this I could find a lot of value in the card, but in the current situation I don't. When things turn around I can always apply for another one or upgrade to get the benefits I like.

I use a spreadsheet on google docs because then Dh and I can look at it whenever. If you want a copy of what it looks like you can pm me

I think that's new, I feel like I just saw a commercial for it yesterday.

I have no idea. I’m that person that pretty much always buys store brand of everything but lately I’ve had to adjust. I’m just glad Dh was able to snag some before they went out of stock

I never had my water break. I went in at 32 weeks for a routine check, and they kept me at the hospital from then on, and DD was born via C-section at 35 weeks when I developed preeclampsia. I was a high risk pregnancy, and while I was hospitalized, I was told by the nurses that I had done really well to make it that far along into my pregnancy without having to be hospitalized. I was like, What??? no one ever warned me of that!!

Wanted to share my Hilton Aspire/Hilton Honors account experience. DH got an Aspire card Feb. 2nd. He DID NOT have a Hilton Honors account at that time and I assumed AMEX would assign him one. It’s now been almost 3 months and even though points are pending on his statements, and he received a letter regarding his free weekend night, still no Hilton #. I finally chatted with AMEX today and basically it came down to, they’ve been waiting for us to provide them with a Hilton account number. I quickly set up an account online, provided AMEX the number via chat and boom now it’s good to go. Moral of the story is, if you are applying for your first Hilton card you may want to sign up for an Honors account first. They are going to send him a new card with his Honors # printed on it as well

I immediately thought of Lain (and the way he tracks everything), and then Lain again about Amex.

I hope he's okay, because we haven't heard much from him lately

I didn't want to be induced either. I went 10 days over my due date for both kids and inductions were scheduled. Both times I went into labor the day before being induced. I suspect it was the anxiety about induction that caused me to go into labor, but that's just a theory. With my first birth it wasn't the pain that freaked me out, it was that my body felt so out of control. It's such a strange experience.

DS21 was a nightmare of a birth. He was due on 2/4. Doctor thought he was going to be over 10 pound so started inducing on my due date. Nothing. Couldn't even get me to dilate so they could break my water. Over the course of the next few weeks I went in and had 10 gels (most people go into labor with 1). And 3 inductions. Finally got me into labor but wouldn't dilate past 7 so had C-Section after a long day of labor. DS was born on 2/21. So stubborn - and he weighed 8lb 11 oz. I was pretty much going into my pregnancy assuming I would have a C-Section as did my mom for all 3 of us and my Aunts. So wasn't surprised. When DD18 was born - just scheduled a C-Section. That was much easier...

A few of us use YNAB - its budgeting software (and it isn't free), but it makes it really easy to track a zillion credit cards. You can add notes about each account (so you can put in the categories that are good for each card). Can be accessed via app (which is only ok) or on a computer (which is awesome). When its time for your DH to pay bills, its very easy to make sure you haven't missed anything. They do a 30 day free trial. Its a little different from other budgeting software I've used, and there are tutorials you can watch to see how to set it up (which I highly recommend). There is no way I would be willing to have as many open and active cards as we do without YNAB.

Did you use Chase as the transfer or did you push from another bank?

They locked one of my cc's last week and then just went ahead and locked access to all my Chase accounts (including checking and savings). Grr!! So I sat on hold for an hour and a half and repeatedly listened to them tell me how I should visit the website or mobile app as most things can be done online. Uh, yeah, except they locked my online access. So annoying.
I hope you get it sorted out soon!! I've always hated having to call but now I really hate it :(

Man I could really use something like this about now. I found out I have to go help train temps on Wednesday and there's no way in hades i'm getting on the subway so Lyft it is. Thing is my brain is running on fumes and I don't know which card to book my rides with. Discover has Uber/Lyft as one of the current 5% categories, CSP with 5x, or the JetBlue Plus card which doesn't inherently have bonuses but being a World Elite MC I get the $10 credit after 5 rides in a calendar month (that was great to use on a Minnie Van during my last WDW trip). Idk why I can't do math today, or like, ever lol.

I did remember to hook up Hilton Honors and Skymiles to double dip at least regardless of which card I use.
