Mine didn't either. We called it a crochet hook. :D

I went to the hospital at midnight for child #3 and got a rather snarky "Do you really think you're in labor?" from the nurse, probably because I was 5 weeks early. No, I really enjoy leaving my toddlers at home, calling my mom to watch them at midnight, just so I can add to your workload, for fun. I was given drugs to try and stop it, but it didn't work and he was born the next day. I didn't see her after the initial eval, but hoped she got the news. So my advice to Haley is trust your own judgment!

With my son, they were trying to send me home an hour and a half before he was born.

TLDR: Vueling is promising refunds to original forms of payment and instead issuing travel vouchers

So, Vueling cancelled my 2 flights in May and offered me a full refund in an email in accordance with their policies. I went on the website and proceeded to select full refund, they said 10 days to process. A week later they sent me travel vouchers. I did NOT select travel vouchers. In fine print at the bottom it says if I want a refund to original form of payment now I have to call. I called. They won't talk to me until May so I should call back then. Baloney sandwich. Not playing that game, charge back filed. They have 35 days to respond Chase says. By then maybe they'll talk to me lol.

Barclays AA aviator biz...I read an old dp that they will refund the AF 60 days after it's posted..... still true?

I downgraded my Amex Brilliant to the plain Bonvoy just now over chat. My $450 AF posted on March 27, and payment was due tomorrow. DH had an Amex offer on his AU card for Marriott and bought a gift card on the day the offer expired. He got the email that the offer was used, but I haven't seen the offer credit. I got the $300 Brilliant credit, and over chat they confirmed he should have gotten the $45 credit (they will stack), and I should see that in the next few days. If I did the math right, I'll have paid around $125 for $300 worth of Marriott stays , and who knows what my FNC will be (50K? 35K? I'm hoping 50K based on stuff I've heard). Hoping that I'll get an upgrade offer in the future too.

I got a letter from Barclays in January that they would close my (sockdrawered) Upromise card if I didn't use it by March 16. Well, I'm a procrastinator and on March 16 I made a $1 purchase online...but Barclays still closed my card. #Barclayed

Working on 3 MSRs now, and one of them is the Amex Blue Business Cash with a $0 AF. It didn't have much of a SUB ($250/$5K first 3 months, plus $250/$10 first year) but I got it for DH so that I could get the 25K support on my biz gold. The Amex Offers on it are very sparse (it started off with none, and now has about 5). Having gone through one statement cycle now, I can see that the 2% cash back is auto-credited to the statement at statement close, and the SUB is auto-credited to the account as soon as you hit the MSR. I'm just sharing in case anyone was wondering how that card worked.

That’s funny, I had a similar experience with child #3. Doctor said I don’t think you are going to have him anytime soon , why don’t you go home or walk around the mall for awhile? I said 😳 heck no! I am not leaving the hospital. Our son was born 6 hours later.

Dh was able to order flour and disinfectant spray from Target this morning (shipped to our house). We haven’t been able to get either of those things before
That’s good! I got flour last week from target. I have been trying to order disinfectant cleaner, but haven’t been able to find any. I may try to make a trip to the store in person next week.

You gave me the push I needed to do the same! Easy change over chat. Most likely, I wasn't going to get the $300 value out of my card.
Based on the chat : "If you transfer to a different Bonvoy American Express card, you will still receive the free night award benefit for the card product you had as of your renewal date. "

Just a heads up that it looks like SWA is starting to adjust the expiration dates of travel funds. I now have a bunch that expire on September 7, 2022. I'm missing $161.98 that expired 4/1/20 that should get the benefit of the new policy. I'm going to give SWA another week since my understanding is they are doing all of the adjustments manually and then call if my missing $161.98 hasn't shown up with a new, extended expiration date. Also, the expiration date of DH's CP is still showing as 12/31/20, so waiting to see the 6-month extension.

So Interesting how things have changed over the years....Both of my kids were 10 days early....my sisters were all 2 weeks late.....but this was 30 years ago, I didn’t know anyone who was induced back then....
:) My oldest will be 30 in June. She was born 3 weeks past my due date. I used certified nurse midwives at a freestanding birth center. They did an ultrasound at 2 weeks past, and everything was fine. They would have done an induction at 3 weeks but I went into labor the night before. Long labor, she really did not want to be born! Other 2 kids popped right out (and both late, but not as late as #1).

I just got two stimulus checks in the mail. Unfortunately, neither were mine. They are addressed to two completely different addresses, which are not even in my immediate neighborhood. I've gotten neighbors' mail in the past and just put it in their mailboxes but these people are not within a good two mile walk of me. I'm not sure what to do. I think I'll drop them in the nearest mailbox.

I always just put them back in my mailbox and write on them wrong address.

I have received mail addressed to another state....make sure you cross off the PO barcode on the envelope or you may get them back :confused3

I was the opposite- 5 weeks from my due date I started having contractions at 4am - felt like cramps and only lasted for 20-30 seconds each time. Talked to the doc at 8am, she said they would either get worse or go away, and I was close enough to my due date that if they got to be 5 mins apart I should go to the hospital. We went for a walk, went to the movies in the afternoon, went out to dinner (having these cramps periodically all day). While we were at dinner, they really started to hurt. When we got home I showered, packed a hospital bag (we were more than a month out, so I hadn't done that). I was lying in bed and I borrowed DH's watch so I could time the contractions - they were then 5 mins apart. Dragged DH out of bed and went to the hospital (by this time there was an ice storm, so he had to drive super slow). Got to the hospital, they all looked at me like I was nuts because it was so early. Got up to the room and the nurse checked me, said "Oh my god, are those toes?" I had shown up 9cm dialated with a breech baby. Ooops. My ODD was born via emergency c-section 22 hours after I had started labor, but I thought it was all braxton hicks and nothing to worry about!

As I mentioned, my son was 6 weeks early. I will spare all the details, but for him they did break my water. I was also prepping for a C-section because he was in distress, but after they wheeled me in there, he decided, nope coming right now!! I had to push something crazy, dh ran into the hall to find someone to help. They then grabbed the only OB who was in the building, and she was not even from my clinic. But there was no waiting. That was 27 years ago, and I still see her annually for my visits :-). Ds was due on Fathers Day. He was born at 12:40 am, the day AFTER Mothers day :-(.
DD they were going to break my water, but before they could it exploded, they could hear it across the room LOL. Sorry that's gross. She was born an hour after I got the hospital, I was in such active labor I could not even stand up when we got there. They left in me in my room to put on my gown, and I was crawling on the bathroom floor trying to change my clothes. Not fun.
No way I would have a third, first dd was a monster until she was at least 2 LOL. 2nd, I know if I had a 3rd, it would have been born in a car on the side of the road LOL.

Those getting paper checks, does your status on the IRS page say "Not available" still? Been checking every day and nothing. We qualify... We use Turbo Tax and owed last year but I provided the debit information. However I just filed our 2019 taxes last week but many data points say that is not a hold up.

Yep! I haven't filed 19 yet, but I still get the not available message.
