Currently I think a separate number will work. I just need a number to put on my resume that if someone leaves a message it won't say hi, this is my name with my company.

Are they going to give you your numbet back? I've read a lot of stories about people that port their number to their job and then thr company won't give it back when they leave because it's now valuable to thr company. If they won't I'd get a new number that you'll be able to keep and I'd start changing it everywhere so it's done prior to giving notice. This because while 2 weeks notice or 1 is the norm that doesn't mean they won't say thanks but there's the door we don't need 2 weeks from you amd we're keeping your number. May not happen but I think it's it's good to consider all possibilities esp of it's gotten bad enough you want to leave.

Totally agree. It happened to a friend of mine, and it was a mess. Not only did she need to run out and get a new phone, but she also had to recreate all her contacts and start looking for a new job. She carries two phones now. Sometimes you just can't see it coming (in her case, 70% of the company was let go that day, with no notice because they ran out of funding).

I was checking to see if my CIP referral bonus was going to post and saw something disturbing.
My SUB was 80k and the below it says -80k for other rewards activity (see pic).
When I go back to all recent activity, it doesn't go back far enough to last August when I was credited the SUB.
Did they take it from me?

Thank you so much for the feedback / information.

If I had a dollar for every time I've asked my AmEx Plat-obsessed dh for a referral link I'd have enough $ for a first class ticket to Europe :rolleyes1. For some strange reason he thinks the links cost him money and he doesn't understand the value in MRs or referrals, nor does he care to learn. So sadly I've given up asking for a referral link.

I am at 4/24 with AmEx, only 1 slot open for them. I will have another space open in the spring when I cancel one of the bonblah cards.

In a way, supportals do cost money because Amex will send him a 1099 for the value of the supportal bonuses, valuing 1 MR = 1 cent. However, as you know, the value of the MR points he’d get from the supportal bonuses is likely much more than the taxes he’d incur on them, and definitely more than if he hadn’t earned the points at all. Anyway.

As for your available slots with Amex, the 5 card limit applies only to credit cards not charge cards like the Green and Platinum cards and their business versions. However, personal Amex credit and charge cards will add to your */24 count when it comes to Chase.

Mine looks similar, but I have those points available to use. It's really strange.

so far this morning,
"DH" applied for SW card with my referral - Need more time response.

I called to upgrade my SW Personal card to the Priority. Unfortunately, I didn't realize you needed 5K CL minimum to upgrade. I had reduced the CL a long time ago. So they need to approve that increase and then I'll need to call in again.

Somehow DH's SW flight in May didn't have his RR number attached. So I called in to have that added. I could not find how to do that on-line.

Went through all the old CCs and will be shredding all closed ones. Too much clutter to keep for no reason.

Finally closed my PNC and DH PNC bank accounts

Got a notice the flights I am tracking for July went up $100. Uggh - see my post on loving SW. I still think the prices will fall but I need to come up with a backup plan.
Funny you mentioned shredding CC, just sent a stash with DH to work, they have a bigger shredder.

My number isn't that valuable to the company (I'm not in sales) but after what I dealt with yesterday (it really was unreal) I would anticipate they will not do anything to make my life easy. So even if they don't want it they may not release it. I think I'll get a small straight talk plan for my old iphone 6 for now. And then I'll give all of my current contacts my new number.

I'm also a member of the LLC not an employee so I'm trying to understand the implications of that. Looks like I need to re-read the operating agreement. Yippee.

That is... disturbing...

Epcot Mexican food Q! (Yeah, lol as a Californian I would normally never eat MX food at theme park but my poor bro has been living in CT for the last few years so this happening...) San Angel Inn or Hacienda? We're going for dinner so seeing fireworks is a potential but it's not necessary as I have Spice Road Table booked for fireworks glimpsing one night. Menus are quite different, both look to have good atmosphere. (Seafood Platter for 2 at Hacienda is very tempting.)

Are your points balances all correct? To me it looks like they took out the 80k from the "Other bonus and rewards" category and credited to the new "New card bonus" category. That category didn't exist before and the sign up bonuses were all lumped into that "Other" category. It looks to me that they want to split out the new card bonus from other promotions.

I think it's just an accounting thing for tracking. If your points balances are all correct I don't think they're taking away anything. There's been sporadic questions on r/churning about it. Didn't see a good answer but no one posted a picture. Here's one that mentions the points balances are correct:

Could I apply for the biz green and biz plat on the same day? I have to use the dischurners method for the biz (if that makes a difference)

Did you have to call to close PNC? I've been meaning to close my account.
