I LOVED classic American Idol. I still watch it now, but it sucks these days. Adam Lambert was robbed and the show went downhill after that. I spent so much time reading Idolforums and calling in to vote. Good times.

I thought Chris Daughtry was robbed, too. He got 4th place, but deserved 1st imo. I love Adam Lambert. He's fantastic.

Ever since we moved down here I've been cutting my own hair. It's worked out pretty well and I can just trim it whenever I want. If I notice my bangs are looking a little long I just break out the scissors lol. I used to get my haircut once a month at Great Clips. Dh still goes, though.

DH looked at his accrued PTO schedule today and realized he’ll have enough to take the week of the 4th of July off on top of our already planned vacations! Sad because it means he’s been working way too much overtime, but Yay because my firm has a scheduled summer break that week so we’ll get to do something! Now we’re trying to figure out where to go/what to do.

I wondered if anyone here has ever done one of the “Groupon Getaway” trips? Some of them look darn cheap even if it is just hotels and a rental car. I’d love to hear if anyone’s tried any of these and what the experience was like.

DH and I aren't millennials but we feel the same way. The only broadcast TV we watch is the Olympics, and just a little bit of it.
