That mailer is just the standard offer, so no need to do it. I believe there was a 60k offer floating around a long time ago on a mailer, but not sure how prevalent those are now. I like the card and the points seem easy enough to use, even though I haven't used them yet. Planning to buy USO tix from UT and use the travel eraser for that. I need to look into it further, but it seems like I can also use the travel eraser to buy us our bullet train tickets for Japan. That plus I used the GE credit for DH, so the card is a good value for us. I will probably pick up on in DH's name too and may even hold onto one of the cards for a while. I kind of like having another easy to use currency that doesn't require me to cash out my URs.

You can even erase the same charge multiple times. So no need to worry about if the bullet train will code as travel.

Can you elaborate on this cryptic statement? I was going to cancel DH's Venture when the annual fee hit but they dangled an offer for another 50,000 miles so now I need to put some travel spend on it to erase. I can't figure out why I would want to erase the same charge multiple times!

Say you have a $200 travel charge. You'd erase it with 20,000 miles, get $200 credit. So now you have 30,000 miles. Well, the charge doesn't go away as eligible to be erased after it's already been erased (as long as it's still within 90 days). So you can go erase it again for 20,000 miles, get another $200 credit. And...presumably again for the rest.

At least it worked for me back in June. I don't have any recent travel charges I can test on now.

So I have read that if you are flying United mixed cabin that they will upgrade you from Econ before others with status. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did you get an upgrade? So for instance, my flight is:
SYD-LAX- Biz Polaris
LAX-DEN- Econ
DEN-BWI- Econ

Will we stand a chance of getting our US flights upgraded?

Questions regarding Chase offers - how frequently do you check for new ones? And any suggestions on easy ways to keep track of which offers are on which cards (I see yet another spreadsheet in my future...)

I screenshot the offers in my app for each account. I edit them to mark which card the offers are on. Super fancy.

That's how mine looked for the one that didn't post. But it's weird that they shipped together? I assume the $34.99 is not Disney GC. Seems the risk is greater when the GCs are different types (and maybe coming from different locations?).

Ugh. Not 2 Disney cards, the other is Buildabear GC. But my 2 other orders contain gift cards plus another item like granola bars. Clearly I didn’t think this thru very well.

This is the 8/20 flight. I have not since I keep debating between DEN and Houston. The DEN-BWI flight is 12 1st class seats vs 20 from Houston.

i read somewhere to call United after booking and asked to be waitlisted. All of the flights from LAX to BWI currently have every 1st class available.

I feel the need to buy all 3 of those too. I will probably do the target deal on BF. I was lucky signing up for the Disney + with the D23 membership - great price but like you said movies will come and go and I still want to own some of them.

Yes! I think the great D23 deal eases the pain of buying the titles in addition to having the streaming. I am loving the original content. Imagineering Story and One Day at Disney will make my subscription worth it

I check daily, Amex too! I obsessively look at all my accounts just to make sure things are in order so poking around for offers is just part of the process.

UMMM this is amazing! Is this something I need to book, or just the ride at all times at night? I seem to remember LWtL closing early at night during "slow" seasons (I was told I could not use my FP+ last October) so maybe it will be open through park close? I had an early FP+ for it, but I will rework plans if I have to!

They said it starts December 3 and will stay open until park close. I’m pretty excited because I can’t ride the space overlay at mk and I don’t think I’m supposed to ride speedway either
