I went to D23 two years ago and vowed "never again." It was INSANE.
That being said, I'm sad I missed the Agents of SHIELD. That's my current obsession and I am currently re-watching seasons 1-5 on Netflix. I'll have to catch season 6 sometime... if I can still find it.

Why didn’t you just pay the $2500 for the sorcerers pass? :rotfl2:I want to go but I hate lines and crowds and Ill just be complaining the entire time but no way would I spend 5 grand for SO and I to not wait on lines lol

Did this Plastiq email get discussed yet?

We value you as a customer and to show our appreciation, we’re giving you one of our best offers yet - submit up to three payments (each payment up to $10,000) until the end of August and pay only a 1% Plastiq fee...On the payment review page, make sure your payment is processed before 11:59 PM EST on August 31, 2019.

My wife got the email but I did not. Doesn’t really matter to us anyways as I have nothing to run through Plastiq right now anyways.

Well I'm sad. I guess I am not a good enough customer yet.
However, I don't have another payment to make before then (I already scheduled my mortgage payment that's due 9/1).

Yep. I used it to meet my Citi AA Biz MSR :)

For the Safeway/Albertsons/Vons MS crowd. I may have missed this being posted already, but Just 4 U is now offering the same deal on Mastercard as they have recently had on Visa--$15 off 2x$100, $10 off 2x$50. Was able to add them on all of our J4U accounts.

And this week OfficeMax/Depot is offering Visa.

Thank you! Should I cancel now, then re-apply next July? I think that makes the most sense.
Definitely keep it open until this July at the earliest. If a category 1-4 is worth $95 (I think it is), then keep it.

Wait, did I miss that SW change to 48 months? I thought it was just that you couldn’t hold the 2 personal at the same time.
I’m an idiot and for whatever reason thought different and didn’t confirm. Been out of chase a while. Listen to Lain.
SW cards are still 24 months after you earned the last bonus on a SW personal card, and Chase won't approve a new SW personal if you have another SW personal open.

And if you're a dummy like me the VGC coupons are gone. D'oh.

Oh ok - this is different. They’re more desperate now and offering 1%! Sometimes these promos make me slight worried about the long-term viability of Plastiq. They seem rather eager to lose money in an effort to generate business.
Oh, yeah. Mine is 1.5%. I just checked the one I received today and it is still 1.5%.

I’ve also gotten 1.5% in the past. Has anybody ever seen 1% yet? I also saw this reported on r/churning as perhaps the first time they offered 1% as a promo. 🤔 I just hope the company is around for the long haul here haha.

Clark was one of about 16 colleges my daughter looked at. She didn’t want to be more than three hours from home. Of course, she ended up five hours from home. (Gettysburg College.) Good luck to your daughter!
My dh graduated from Gettysburg!
Did they go to college? Usually a lot of colleges provide those services for free even after you graduate.
Yeah, they weren't very happy with the career center while a student, but maybe things will be different now. Thanks for the reminder :)
We did Enrollment on Arrival at SJC. CBP agent was very nice. Didn't really ask us anything. But process took awhile with computer and fingerprint machine issues.
I'm hoping that our GE processes reasonably quickly, but if we have to, we can do Enrollment on Arrival at PHL on the way back from Rome.
Lol, that was us for YEARS. We finally slowed down a bit when we started going by ourselves without kids.
Same!
That’s great! I love it when you get short waits like that. I have the back stage tour of soarin booked in November. Looking forward to it.
The DVC tour? I've heard that is so hard to book.

The big thing to me coming out of D23 as it relates to WDW is a massive Epcot overhaul. New entrance, new “neighborhoods”, future world goes away, new nighttime spectacular, new Moana (walkthrough?) attraction, new Mary Poppins ride, huge SSE overhaul, among other things. Epcot is unfortunately going to see A LOT of construction walls over the next few years but the end result seems like it will be totally worth it.

Lots of details on one page: (warning: lots of “marketing speak” here, lol)

Loving all the D23 news for WDW! Remember when I said I was done with summer trips? YEAH... I think I may need one again to try Ratatouille, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, and the space restaurant. :lmao:I am also extremely intrigued by the Target partnership. The one thing I am a little sad about is the opening date of the new Cirque show. I was dead set on going this spring, but it looks like I will only be there during the preview time. I don't think I am important enough to be invited :rotfl:

Now I have a whole night open with nothing to do! I am hoping for DAH in MK and even possibly DVC moonlight magic in DHS. I have them tentatively planned, but there are so many unknowns. This is the hardest trip to plan for since 2016 waiting for RoL!

I see Kroger is offering 4x fuel points on GC purchases this coming weekend. Do the experts here know if Kroger fuel stations code as "gas stations" for the CF? I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Sam's Club fuel station did when we drove to SD last month.

A Moonlight Magic during our week in March would be fabulous!

Our Kroger chain gas station does code as fuel for CF.
