I am not obsessed with Star Wars. I have to honestly say I will probably be more excited visiting TSL than SWGE in WDW for years to come just because it is what I grew up with. My parents were never into it so I never saw any of them until Revenge of the Sith was about to come out. I watched them in order of release and finished with Episode III in theaters with friends in 2005. Episode I and II were absolutely painful to get through. I tried again later in life and just couldn't. LOL I can tolerate III. Maybe because it bridges the story? I only saw The Force Awakens from the new trilogy on HBO and it was ok. I didn't hate it, but I wasn't obsessed. It just seemed like A New Hope got recycled. I should probably finish the newer films before visiting SWGE.

Starbucks gave out free sample shots of their Nitro Cold Brew today and I tried it for the first time- wowza what a caffeine hit! Drink that right before/as you’re watching and you WILL stay awake! (Apparently a Tall has almost as much caffeine as 3 espresso shots. A grande has close to 4 shots worth. They literally won’t sell you a Venti due to the caffeine content...)

Applied DH for the Hilton Biz through my support link. After a very long 30 mins it was finally approved, woot! Also discovered when I was looking up his Hilton Honors number that his points were due to expire the next day (8/1) so hopefully getting the card prevented that. If not, no worries it was only a handful of points from a 2 night stay last year.

I finally decided to close out my Wells Fargo account so I wouldn't have to keep doing 10 debit transactions a month. I linked my main bank account and transferred everything out. Once it cleared I messaged asking to close the account. A few minutes later I got an e-mail saying they had responded to my message and when I logged into my account to check I saw a note saying it was closed. Easiest closure ever!

So about a month ago my Fitbit started acting up. It was recording things wrong and then the battery just totally tanked. It lasts me about 10 hours now when it used to last 4 days. Fitbit finally decided there was no helping me through chat (after about 2 weeks of going back and forth through DM on Twitter) and once they learned it had been over a year since I bought it (April 2018) they sent me a link to get 25% off a new one. I bought this version the week it was released so it was pretty pricey and I was mad it barely lasted a year. I then thought about all the benefits these credit cards offer and decided to check how I paid. It ended up being put on my SPG personal when I was working on the MSR (and $10 on a BB gift card from cashing in Shopkicks). So I filled out the form to make a claim on their extended warranty coverage. The next day I was asked to send in the receipt from Best Buy, pulled that from my Best Buy account and sent it off. Today I get a notice that there has been an update to my claim. Open the link and find they approved it and would be issuing a credit to my account in the full amount charged! So now I don't owe anything on my Bonbon card this month (and have a credit, car insurance is paid for next month too!) So once either my Jetblue Biz or DH's Hilton biz arrives I'll be using that 25% off code to get a new fitbit that I can wear for more than a few hours! So happy!

Thanks @afan, I’ll try some light stretches too. Seems like a good idea because I do feel really stiff. I tend to baby my aches and pains which isn’t always best. I usually stream a tv show before bed (been watching through 24 again, one of my favorites), but I think I’ll stick to an audio book tonight so I don’t need to sit up.

Actually that’s a little misleading. A shot of espresso has 75 mg, 12 oz of Nitro Cold brew has 215 mg and 12 oz brewed Pike Place Roast has 235 mg. I think the “no Venti” is a marketing ploy because they’ll sell you a Venti Pike Place with 410 mg. You can also buy double caffeine Starbucks K cups with 260 mg caffeine. 7 Eleven coffee has been tested as the highest caffeine content for you caffeine junkies.

The Force Awakens is like a beat for beat redux of A New Hope with different characters swapped in who I don’t care about. But at least it vaguely felt like “Star Wars.”

The Last Jedi was so bad they’re talking about retconing it in the third film. So bad, they had to bring JJ Abrams back to salvage the saga. Old man Luke was so totally out of character from the Jedi Knight we knew, even Mark Hamill himself was disgusted. What the heck was the point of big bad Snoke — only to get cut down to show how “bad” Kylo Ren is? Sorry but Kylo Ren is an emo kid who is a poor man’s Darth Vader. I did not need to see Adam Driver shirtless, much less the Kylo Ren Challenge that it inspired. What was the point of that whole detour to the casino planet — to get the one code breaker in the galaxy who can do whatever it is he’s supposed to do, only to find hey another code breaker dude is good ‘nuff? And the whole Holdo character was insufferable, who was clearly written in because of Carrie Fisher’s untimely death, and who could have avoided the whole mutiny drama if she was a better leader who inspired confidence in her plan instead of keeping a tight “I know better than you” lip.

And what the heck is this whole “Resistance” thing? Another poor man’s Rebellion. 35 years after they took down the Emperor, and they’re still fighting remnants of the Empire, who still have the resources to build entire fleets and planet killers? Where’s the New Republic? The Expanded Universe novels (at least the earlier stuff) published through the 80s and 90s did a much better job at plotting and telling the story of our heroes after Return of the Jedi. Until Disney came along, relegated the EU novels to non-canon because they thought they could tell a better story.

TBH I tend to like my coffee to taste more like sugar than coffee so I’ve stuck to my Vanilla lattes and mochas . (And my local stores didn’t get it until this latest rollout + today it was free!) To my surprise I actually liked it so it might be in the running someday when I want an espresso kick fast, like next time it’s 6:30am and I’m asking myself is rope drop really worth this?...

DH just told me that on one of his last work trips he was paying for something and the person noticed the labels on his card and mentioned them... so he explained... and she told him maybe it was time for him to be a big boy and learn how to use his own cards
