I think I might start with sending in the extra premium via Plastiq. I also have a car payment that isn't on Auto that I might send in. I just need to figure out how to get it approved through Plastiq.yeah....I;m a little scared to turn off autopay thru my bank (since BoA is not especially helpful overall) and try Plastiq for fear something won't go thru right- plus I'm sending in an extra payment monthly too. I;m not sure how to do all that yet.
Bubba Gumps is landrys??????I am not sure about double registering. That is weird and I do not believe I had that on my physical card. You can pull up a virtual card in the app. If the number matches I bet its fine.
You do not need the ADR at all. You will be seated before guests with ADRs as long as you are a party of 6 or less.
The birthday reward expires on the 15th of the month after your birthday month. You must use the welcome reward prior to the birthday reward and they cannot be combined. If you have two dinners between now and 8/15, you will be able to use both rewards. I did not think I was going to be able use both in WDW and I learned from the boards that you can actually go into the Rainforest Cafe gift shop and use the $25 birthday reward on merchandise if it is going to go to waste. I ended up squeezing in a meal at Bubba Gump in City Walk so it worked out.
I think this happened with the big update they did. I'm not sure what was accomplished, because i still get the popups on mobile and they created new problems like this that didn't exist before.....and..... I'm really sorry about the double and triple quotes...... there are things I like about the updated boards, and things I don't like. My problem is when I post, it won't take me back to where I was previously,I have to go back and find it manually, and when I do that, it shows the shadow of the last thing I posted ready to post (arg) so when I try to post again it multi quotes...... I'll try to remeber to manually clear the box each time,IDK why my browser isn't doing it automatically. (on the other hand, bookmarking is now an essential part of my reading!)
Yup! I had no idea until I actually got the card and was browsing the Landry's website. There are a ton of places I would have never guessed. I am very happy to have the membership if I ever need a last minute table somewhere.Bubba Gumps is landrys??????
This is a dumb question but what do you you all do with vgc,s. Do you save them for later to spend or are you able to deposit them as cash some how.Yes, gc purchases are fine. Discover doesn’t get details of what you bought and they are way less hyper about that than Amex.
woohoo! Just set up Serve, CIP should be here today. Will be testing it soon. I hope I do it right.Staples will have fee free VGC’s August 4th-10th. I will definitely be taking advantage of this.

so does this mean you're making two payments per month, and those payment go to both principle and interest?I have been paying my Provident loan via Plastiq and have left the auto pay as a safety net. But I am currently a month head (made Aug payment at the end of June and put in the memo Aug payment) without any problems. They typically pull my payment on the 5th of the month but no double payments so far.
does not bode well for our AA economy flightNot those airports but the Admirals Club at PHL was the BEST part of our AA biz flight. The food was good, there was a lady making guacamole (Iguac and made to order! No gross cilantro!!), and cans of diet coke. The chili was excellent and we happily stuffed ourselves silly. It was large, quiet and an excellent club. If I flew AA regularly and/or if DFW/MIA/PHL/CLT was my main airport I would seriously consider it. If it would just be for a flight or two, though, I likely wouldn't (and might just try to get in with paying the fee).
1991 Discover here! and a 1991 Citi no rewards card that I believe started life as a Shell cardMy Discover is my oldest card on my CR, dating back to.... 1990.I am terrified to apply for a second card for fear something would happen to the original.
Great to know--thank you!Staples will have fee free VGC’s August 4th-10th. I will definitely be taking advantage of this.
C'mon dh's new Gold card---get here already! I am salivating for Amex offersNew AmEx offer (at least new for me)
Save at Select Superstores Online, 15% back up to $10, exp 10/31
Offer valid only on eligible online purchases made directly with Target, BJ’s, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Jet.com on their US websites and US mobile apps.
Lots of exclusions listed in the details for each store, but offhand I'm not seeing a problem for DGCs. Target has "Excludes reloadable gift cards purchased online" but I don't think DGC would count as reloadable.

I don’t have. a CIC but I am going to try just getting a serve and buying one card at staples to see how it goes.Yeah, use your CIC for 5x and check Dosh before you buy. It went away but it was 5% back at staples recently so hopefully that comes back.

I don't have one either, but I might call and PC my CIU to a CIC. Not sure if they will let me since I PC'd it from a CIP to a CIU less than a year ago, but maybe.I don’t have. a CIC but I am going to try just getting a serve and buying one card at staples to see how it goes.
Yeah, I can see that. I am going to have my DH apply for a CIC next if this goes well. How long does it take to get the serve card in the mail? The CIC is what makes it really profitable for me but it’s a good time to test it out to see how it works. It’s also good for meeting an MSR.
