Those of you that are getting new serves I would advise ordering up to 5 and keeping the ones you aren’t using inactive. This way if you get shut down you have 4 more to play with.

To get more than one, do we need to make additional accounts (ie, one card per serve.com login), so can we request additional cards for the same serve account?

I hope yours doesn't get cancelled, but if it does you are able to rebook on a different flight without paying anything, regardless if the new flight costs more. There just has to be seats available.

That’s what concerns me. There’s only one nonstop flight on SW on Saturdays only. And there’s 6 of us. Really hoping we don’t run into any issues! I guess there are technically thousand of SW flights that take off everyday without issue so hopefully I’m one of those. I guess it’s a good thing I’m buying trip insurance!

Well I’m only $200 from meeting the MSR on my CIP2 already. It’s a good thing but also kind of sad that we met it that fast (in about a week). I’m referring Dh to his CIP3 now. We also got the $17.50 cashback from the staples offer.

All this southwest talk is making me nervous. I’m flying down in Jan. for marathon weekend but can only leave the day beforehand due to work. I’d be pretty upset to train for the half marathon and then have my flight cancelled.
I have enough points to fly southwest free but only enough to fly one way free on Jet Blue.
I need to decide soon since the next booking window for southwest should be opening soon.

When they cancelled my 6/2 flight the day before...I had to rebook it myself...not sure what they are doing this far out

I am hoping to get CP status with in a month. And was going to rebook my DH's flight as my companion. That will probably make it more complicated if our flight gets cancelled. Oh well, I will figure it out if it happens. But one thing I know is I don't want to drive.

Thanks! We went to the villain dah last night and I had a lot of fun!! Waiting for the bus at the end of the night almost ruined the experience but not quite. We waited 40 minutes for a bus back to wilderness lodge and were basically the only group left. Old key west had 3 buses while we were waiting and the last bus only picked up two people. The event was really fun though!

This exact thing happened to DD20 and me last July. I was so mad! We got to the bus stop before the party was over and by the time we had left everyone else was gone from the party and no one was left at any bus stop except us!

I wonder if OKW had three buses because DVC pays for their own buses through our dues and from Magic Kingdom that's it for getting back to OKW? Were the boats running for WL? I know there is DVC at WL also, but sometimes service seems different depending on which resort you are staying at and what the options are.

My DH was my companion on the flight....I called as soon as the text notification came and the hold time was 30 minutes ...

Went online to rebook while on hold
what I had to do was put his confirmation number and name in to cancel his flight first
then put my information in and change to an open flight
Then add my DH back as my companion on the new flight

Oh no, I just looked one of mine is 737-700 and the other (return) is a Max 8. What happens if they cancel my flight? Do they put us on another flight or is that up to us to figure out?

You get to pick which alternate flight you want to take. If it's a schedule change due to the MAX8 grounding you'll have plenty of time, like right now it's 3 months out, just keep up with the MAX8 Updates (https://www.southwest.com/html/air/737-MAX-8.html). And if you're on a route affected by a change they should be notifying you by whichever method you selected when you booked the tickets.

The bigger problem is if a more unscheduled change has to happen closer to your flight date. Because they have to shuffle planes and routes around to make up for missing those aircraft, they're stretched a little thinner and if something else happens like weather or mechanical problems - even somewhere else in the country - they may have to reroute planes already in service which causes last minute problems. Best advice is to check the current schedule and have backup options ready so when you're notified you can make the change quickly to get what you prefer. You can move days as well, up to 14 days surrounding your date of travel, so you're not limited to the flight times on the day you picked if you can be flexible like that.

Well we aren’t doing the tour. Dh is completely against going. I thought the free FPS and gcs would be nice but he said it’s a waste of his time and ruins his vacation. He’s kind of an introvert and doesn’t like feeling pressured
