Does he push girls and splash them when they ask not to and continue to do it when they cry? (I’d assume not but for some reason 80% of the little boy population seems to think this is acceptable lol).
I should add that this anecdotal data is taken from Disney pool splash areas where it seems parenting is frowned upon and Lord of the Flies mentality rules the day while parents update their instagrams with their awesome pics of their vacation. :lmao: I do realize there are some good boys out there... but yet again my nephew seems like a good boy and thinks “Kick Uncle SFF in the crotch” is a fun game. You can definitely tell I’m a “girl dad” haha!

Omg my nephew would never do that. He would be so sad if that happened to him. He’s 3 and wants to be everyone’s friend.

I always said my dh was a ‘girl dad’ until we had two boys. Then he had to toughen up a bit and start wrestling and stuff lol. But my boys are both nice boys. They actually get bullied by other boys a lot because they’re so nice. My 11yo has every girl he knows crushing on him cause he’s sweet to them and the other boys don’t like that a bit

DEN Timberline question: I will have only one PP for the 6 of us. Can we still go there and get 3 credits and just pay for the rest? How long do you think it would take, is it possible with a 1h50m layover? Accessible flying SW?

I actually have two PPs, but I haven't activated one and DH's will be canceled before our trip.

Looking at switching my flight to OAK a bit earlier and this layover is a possibility.

That’s definitely something I notice that’s frustrating. It seems that some boys think it’s “cool” to be mean or bully and then they can even turn some of the good boys to the “dark side”. Oh well - I guess it’s just boy culture. Middle school girl culture is coming for us and I know that’s no treat either!!

Yes, you should be able to get the three credits and pay OOP.

Timberline is on the same concourse as SW. Depending on when you get there, your almost two hours should be fine. If it’s evening at dinner time, you may just need to eat fast.

Universal fans... Royal Pacific is least expensive. 2,333 pts per night more to stay at hard rock. Another 1,334 to go to portofino.

With a 2 night stay is there any discernible difference between these resorts for me to want to not just “go with the least expensive” option??
I love RPR, have stayed on 3 occasions now and had great stay each time! You will be more than happy with it, save your points. (My top RPR tip is if the weather is cooperative the pool bar is a great place to grab dinner, some of the dishes as Jakes restaurant inside but a couple bucks cheaper.)

I think we’ve moved to hard rock as a preference due to water slide and my daughter’s obsession with becoming a pop star lol.

I'm mostly repeating what others have said. HRH is the closest. We've always stayed at RPR out of the deludes as it was the cheapest when we've gone. I love it there. Boat ride is nice and shorter than PBH. We only have two in a room so haven't noticed room size as problem. I actually like SF but it doesn't have EP so it is never my first choice. The pool there is very nice and the boat ride isn't too much longer than RPR. All that to say, my vote is for RPR and cheap.

Tks! 11:15-1:05, so lunch time.

The toughest time we had was middle school with a girl. Brutal. Good thing you know all those mean girl quotes.

Two quick questions:
1) I finally convinced my Dad to apply for a CSR, but I saw in the thread today that there are no longer support links for it? I must have missed that change during my hiatus. 😉

2) @SouthFayetteFan - are you using URs to pay for your Universal hotel? We’re thinking about popping down there for a weekend this fall with friends to see all the HP stuff for the first time, and I’m just starting to look into the best way to book it.

Yeah - I’m VERY excited to use URs for this trip. Between my parents and sister and my clan we’ll need 2 rooms and tickets for 7! And my dad might want me to rent a car for them since they are staying the rest of the week after we head home. Gonna (finally) be a great use of that 1.5x UR value with CSR!!

Ditto what @wendow said. And I expect that you'll get the full 3 x $28 = $84 credit at Timberline when you say you're there with two guests on your PP. Since the entrees many items are more in the 14-20 range, you might not have as much OOP as you anticipate. We can never meet the full $84 credit with 3 people there.

ETA: Did you see the news that the Amex Plat associated PP will no longer cover restaurants in the US after Aug 1? Just FYI for future planning.

I think the credit went up to $32pp but I could be wrong. It's been since last Nov we were able to use our PP at Timberline.

I'm so bummed at the loss of Amex plat PP at Timberline. We don't have a CSR anymore. My dh will be traveling some for his new job so I won't be surprised if he asks me to somehow get him another CSR lol!
