This is my first time trying to book a companion pass flight. My rapid rewards is under my maiden name. I just got married a couple weeks ago and will be changing my name so I booked my flight under my married name so I wouldn't have to change it later. I try to book my companion pass flights under My Trips and I don't see an option for that? Is it because I didn't book under my maiden name? I have my companion linked in my account - I just can't add him to my flight anywhere.

Got three non-stops from RIC to TPA the Saturday after Christmas returning the Saturday after New Year's for 47k points plus $30.

Same story here. No WGA fares. Anytime fares are comparable to the major carriers from what I've seen.

Yikes not for mine. BWI to SJO anytime fare = 43,602 points or $600+ ONE WAY! Waiting to see if they load Wanna Get Away fares.

So far, I only booked my return flight home from PUJ. We have flexibility there with our dates since DS is off school for 2 1/2 weeks and I just want to make sure we are there on Christmas Day. If push comes to shove, we'll just come back late and DS can miss a couple of days at his new school. No idea what their policy is but given that it's my $$$ paying for it, I feel ok about it.

I feel all caught up in the SW excitement but nothing to book. I almost want to book flights for Thanksgiving for my BIL on points and he could pay us, because he always waits really late and then pays $600+ but I know we could never get him to commit this far out. He still hasn't even committed to if he is coming for the weekend after the cruise to do Kennedy with us. That's 4 weeks from tomorrow!

I can't do Frappuccinos. Too much sugar.

Too sweet for me. And I do like sweet. Same with the White Mochas

I use the saks credit easily. My problem is the dining credit. Seems like it forces me to shake shack at the end if every month just so it doesn't go to waste

Oh man, the $10 Gold dining credit? I don't know what I would do with that one, cause we don't have any of those places near us. And I don't eat cheesecake. It would have to be a grubhub delivery.

I'm not sure SW released WGA fares for all dates. I've been reloading the backdoor links since 6pm PT, and I never saw WGA fares pop up for my dates but dates around peak Thanksgiving travel have WGA availability.

Me too! I'm waiting for Jetblue to open flights through early spring so I can figure out when we want to use that Sheraton Vistana Villages offer we bought. I'd like to go in February when it's cold here so I can hopefully get some warmer days in FL.

Oh and now comes the time on that DISboards SW megathread where one group has to complain how expensive flights are then another has to brag about how awesome their prices were. Depending on the cast of characters this can devolve into people arguing with each other and saying "it must be nice to be rich". (Did I mention how much I love our thread...but I do also enjoy a good thread train derailment!!)
