Got the Amex Delta Platinum Biz before the first of the month. This will be my third business card in the last 2 months so I’ve got my MSR cut out for me. I got a CIP and Citi AA Biz card in March.

Flying on Delta for a Viking cruise for Thanksgiving down the Rhine. I figured it couldn’t hurt to have a higher status for potential upgrades and then I can refer DW.

I notice in my AA miles that it says they expire next fall. Do you just have to book something before they expire? I’m looking into booking a trip to WDW for Fall 2020 eventually.

Why can't you deposit cash at the ATM? Do they not all do that? I just did it last week. I never go into a bank. There is an ATM outside my office building so if I need to do something bank related I just do it there.
I’ve never seen an ATM that deposits cash. I guess none of our banks we’ve used had that ability

@Lain our contact with chase said he is asking his manager if we can get 100k URs for our mortgage. Thanks for the link! Dh was just looking at flights for us to get there with the cats and they aren’t cheap but we could book them with Chase for 46k URs. Then we would have to pay the cat fees OOP.

ETA- he said he could get us 75k URs after closing so that doesn’t help with our flight down. Hmmm....I might need to think of a way to bring the cost down because it’s gonna be like $700+ for us to fly down and it’s not even a nonstop flight

Wow really? I can deposit checks and cash at Bank of America ATMs. Have been able to do that for probably close to 5 years now.
Really? Our US Bank ATMS deposit cash, it's crazy slick, you can put in a big pile of cash all at once and it counts it all immediately and prints a receipt.
We’ve always done small, local banks so I bet that’s why.

Back when they had deposit envelopes all ATMs took cash. The ones around here all suck it up loose now. You're supposed to be able to just stick in a stack of checks and cash and the machine figures it all out. But I always have to do each check separately. Cash though I just stick the stack in and it gets counted, asks for my approval on the amount, and done!

Do all ATM's accept deposits for non-account holders? I thought I saw some banks that won't accept deposits at the ATM unless you had an account there, or part of their partner network.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I know I did all my deposits at my parents credit union back in the day even though my account was at a credit union in a different state. But that might not hold true for a regular bank. But, with all these online only banks these days I imagine there must be some way to deposit cash through a different ATM.

Plastiq was still allowing my Provident mortgage payments with the workaround, but I stopped once CIP didn't code 3x. If it comes back, I can tell you how to address it to hopefully get it through.
Plastiq kicked the last one I tried back saying I couldn't pay mortgage with a visa. I waited a month and was going to try again and then the 3x stopped so I never tried again.

We PC'ed the CSR to a CFU and kept the CL at 10k. If we PC if back to a CSR, we pay the $450 but also get the $300 TC again?[/QUOTE]

Wendow - not sure if anyone responded to this. I had the CSR then PC'd to Freedom. Then last June we were booking a cruise with points and would save and extra $500 by using CSR instead of CSP or CIP. So, I PC'd back to CSR in June. The $300 credit was able to be used immediately. So, I did that. The annual fee was not charged until November (which is I'm assuming the original date of sign up). So, I paid that. It shows the $300 travel credit available in July again. So, I will use that up. And book another cruise with the CSR before PC'ing again to Freedom once the annual fee posts again.

Dh was denied again for the Aviator biz card. "He" applied and was denied on 3/1 - auto denial - got the letter saying they needed all this verification stuff, even though he'd been denied. I thought that was odd. We sent everything they asked for and never heard a word from them. Thought I would try again and it went pending but then few hours later, I checked the status page and he had been denied. I really do not get Barclay. Whoever called them Bar-cray was right lol!

The status page told me I was denied, a few days letter got the verification letter and sent all the stuff in, and the card arrived one day. No email nothing and the website stayed on denied.

You did!? Oh I bet you saw her! She is there pretty much every night.

She looks like a Disney princess (or Tink!) I meant to post, but over Easter we spent the day with a friend who is doing the CP. she works at Contempo Cafe and lives in the housing. I couldn’t remember where you were from when I asked her about her roommates but her name is Alex. Does your daughter room with a girl called Alex?? This would be too much conincidence but I’ve had weird coincidences happen before. :).

My DD20 app'd for the Marriott card and was denied. Reasons included too much credit extended (she has a Discover 2018 and a university credit union visa 2017, AU on my Capital one and CF) and credit score 763.
Maybe SW is easier?
So, Chase looked at all the credit extended to her - not just what they have given her on the CF? Is that normal?

My dd's biggest CL is on the CIP and I'm going to reduce that. Her CFU and Discover both only have about 1k, iirc.

Chase did that to me when I tried to my SW personal in late 2018. They denied me for it. And I have a very long credit history, including 16 years with Chase.

That's really crazy! But Barclay is full of surprises...My dh sent in the verification info the first time but never heard from them. Same thing happened to @speedyfish's SO. Hopefully, if it is the same letter this time and we send all the stuff in, he actually gets approved!

Thank you! Had you used the $300 for that year (when you PC'ed back to it and then had the $300)? I had used the $300 for 2019. Just PC'ed it to CFU. Wondering what happens if we PC back in Aug? New $300? I don't even know if we will. I would only do it because I could benefit from the 1.5x redemption. Lately, there hasn't been anything of interest through UR for us.

I'm not sure what her credit lines are, but they can't be much. She's an AU on my CF. Maybe she needs to get her own CF before other Chase cards. She banks with Chase but currently doesn't have any Chase cards of her own.

My credit union takes cash too. It's two different slots though. They just put new atms in so that may have changed but if you have both cash and checks it's 2 seperate actions within the transaction.

Ah, ok, I was thinking she had her own CF. My dd got the CFU first. Chase, at least at one time, was marketing that card as their 'student card' so we went for that one first hoping it would be easier to qualify for.
