as for getting an extra card you can just ask for a replacement card, I just SM asking for a new card because mine was sticking. They kept the same number and sent a duplicate card

Well... I was without MSR for about 4 weeks. It felt OK for the first 2 weeks, then I started feeling like my spend was not being valuable enough. I applied for the Barclay Arrival last Friday and was a little worried when I didn't get instant approval. I got an email today that my card is on it's way.

Has your Arrival shown up yet? What day did it come?

Looks like my Hyatt card is in the mail today! Does anyone know if the $3000 in the first 3 months and $3000 in the next 3 months actually HAS to be in those time frames? Or can I just go ahead and knock it all out over the next couple months? I'm going to do a PNC account for me so that will take out 2k immediately.

Still no sign of 1099s.

That would be so wonderful, but no. You have to make separate payments. I think I've sent as many as 5 payments - paying from different Mastercards. I note in the memo field "partial March payment - do not apply to principal." Two of the smaller banks I use could not handle those instructions though and would always apply the payments incorrectly. I would have to call every month to have things adjusted.

I think I had one referral in the past year(20k hilton) and no 1099 arrived- would we be safe to get the taxes done? I don't think I'm going to get anything

I filed a dispute with Experian last night over a phone number I didn't recognize (wasn't listed on my other reports). This morning I got a message the dispute has been resolved and the number is off my report. I'm surprised at the speed.

I have a parent in the same boat, they got like 15k MRs for a referral but haven't gotten a 1099. It's their only Amex referral.

At the end of the day you can always amend your return so if that's all you're waiting on and you really want to file I'd go ahead and file. Unless you are using an accountant then I would wait until April as I would not want to pay an accountant to amend a return over 20k HH.

Only issue with amending is sometimes the tax software charges you a small fee for it.

While true (ish), I totally didn't think of it that way. I was thinking more that I can afford the extra Tab and chips for our guests so bring along the cheerleaders too Although perhaps we'll need the extra support to repair the dance hall after the dancing vs cheerleading dance-off/throwdown.
