I lost my job.... and I am sad to have lost it...

But with the 4th of July coming, I am truely happy to live (IMHO) in America and have the opportunities I have.... I'm thinking of starting my own business again, or maybe just consulting (computers).

As long as my family's health is good, I will be happy for what I do have, and not be sad for what I don't.....

On a side note, we will be going to Oak Brook tomorrow for the "taste of oak brook" and later watching the fireworks from the Drake's Parking Lot

Our townships fireworks were canceled.

Thanks for remembering me.... I have to occassionally rent when I am out of work - computers can be a rough industry.

FYI - BOth Caskbill and Richyams have both given me advice and mentoring over the years, and I am sorry to have lost such kind and knowledgable mentors. Not everyone can explain things so that so that you can understand, and if they do, many don't want to take the time to help the next generation. But I wouldn't have gotten where I am without their help.

Goldilocks, I have to admit I was wondering why someone would post that they lost their job. It only took me a few seconds to realize why you did. Support is always good in any situation whether it be good or especially bad. Like Naisy68 said, I too have/had a bad attitude because unknowingly I took somethings for granted. Your thread should be a reminder of how fortunate people who have jobs are. I see it as a reality check, in a selfish way I see it as a wake up call for me and hopefully others.
