I lost my cat....UPDATE

She got out of the house while the men were bringing in my new washer and dryer. She has never really shown in intrest in outside. She has never been outside. It is going to snow soon and I have to leave for work My poor baby......I hope she finds her way home. I am sick with worry..........

Can you leave a box or something outside near the door so she can climb in and find some shelter?

I am leaving the porch door ajar for her. It is inclosed and not too cold. I just do not know if she will know how to get back to me

That's a good idea, Gemmie. I think she'll be able to find her way home just fine. Cats tend to have a pretty good sense of diretion.

When I had my kitty she was missing once for 3 days. I was worried sick, she was a strictly indoor cat. She finally just showed up at the door and meowed to be let in They do manage to find their way home.

I know what you're feeling. My kitty got out somehow a few weeks ago and he's strictly an indoor cat. I couldn't find him and drove all over the neighborhood looking for him. Luckily, I made one final trip around the perimeter of my house and called him. I heard a faint meow and found him. He was stuck in a large bush. I couldn't even see him he was so far into it. It was very cold that day and he was scared. But I've been told that indoor cats generally don't stray too far from home, so maybe your kitty is close by and will come home soon. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

My DH just called me and told me she is home safe and sound. He let the dog out and it sounds like he found her and chased her back into the house YIPEEE!!! I feel so much better now Now I can really enjoy my new washer and dryer

Oh gosh Jana. I have inside cats and I know how you feel. When my Saffron was alive, she got out once and I couldn't find her for two days. I was heartbroken. I'm sure she'll come home. {{{{Hugs}}}}
