When we bought a new VB contract on Feb 23rd (last month) I told my husband he has to go into the OKW gift shop and buy me a license plate for my new SUV - which will be here in 2 weeks. My guide heard this and said not to bother. She said we would get one in the mail along with another tote bag. It has been a month and we haven't received one. I do not want to order one because shipping is more then the item! So, do I call my guide for something so minor? Or, should I just let it go and buy my own in July when we go back? Thanks for any ideas!

I think that I would call your guide since he was the one to tell you this. We bought in Jan. and received our tote but not license plate.

We got one but it did not come until about 2 weeks after we received our deed. This was about 4 months after our downpayment and the start of our paperwork. Deposit Oct 9. Deed received Jan 9th. Hope this helps.

Your question is as important as any other post here!

When the license plates were first sent out, it took about 6 months for the membership to generally receive their gift. The mailings (for all DVC things) are staggered and do not all go out the same day, so it's not unusual for some members to get things well before others. During this whole process, more were buying into DVC.
I would not assume anything since it has only been one month (or two or three) since you joined, but a call to your guide can't hurt. Good Luck!

Just call and remind your sales guide of the promise. Also the second tote bag doesn't come until you've closed (I think)
