I am considering staying at Disney over Christmas with my sister, my DD9 and her friend who will also be 9. How do I go about presents for Christmas morning? Pack them separately, unwrapped, and wrap them there? Any suggestions? I don't want too much. Should I ship it home before I leave?

If you're flying, do not wrap them first. Otherwise it will of been for nothing because the airport will make you unwrap them. If you're going to have a lot of presents, wrap them first to save time and have them shipped down to your hotel before you leave and ship them home when you return.

ebaynut, if you are going x-mas of 2002, it is NOT too early. If you are staying on property, I would make those ressies now. (I could not tell from your post if your sister lives down there, or you are just traveling with her.)

I agree, it's not to early. We are also going Christmas and I booked in January. I was also wondering how to handle the presents for my son. Does any one know if you can buy gift wrap on site?
I'm thinking I could mail the gifts down, go to Super Wal-Mart for milk and stuff for room and pick up gift wrap there. Or just buy gift wrap on site.

I'm sure you can find gift wrap on-site but they will charge an arm & a leg and it'll be Disney Christmas. I would pick it up offsite or lay it flat in the suitcase.

I agree -- far from too early for this coming Christmas. In pre-9/11/01 days you might even be too late. ;)
