I can't help hoping that I'll receive an email from Disney with an offer for a free upgrade like so many of the Americans are getting. My dh has already said that he doesn't want to return after this trip , but I really think that if we were to stay at one of the two properties they are upgrading people to, he would change his mind kwim?

Oh well, one can always hope, I suppose.

I'd love the upgrade too....in fact they should upgrade us this is our 7th trip in 5 years. 4 times staying at a value and 3 at a mod. They should see that we are a sure thing and if they upgrade me I might start staying at the deluxe resorts.

No, I didn't. Do you think I should? Truly, I think something this magical is the only way dh would agree to revisit WDW - the rest of us LOVE it there and want to go back again after this trip!

We would love an upgrade too. My Dh did actually call about it and was given the whole " PINs are sent out to a totally random selection of people line"

It was only if you were staying at a value, but I think they're done now. It helps if you sign up on the WDW web site, request a planning DVD, any newsletters in getting pin codes.

Don't worry, my DH always thinks he's not going again, and then I casually mention that there's a great deal with free dining (food seems to work!), and before he knows it he's there again! (and has a great time)

Somewhere along the line, he does say "I can't believe I'm going to WDW again!" though.

OMGosh........this would be so cool. I wish I was given an upgrade. How about an upgrade to the castle suite.
