I know its still early, but when will LOTR TTT come out on video?

I can't remember when the first one came out. I'm thinking it was August, but really hoping my memory is off.

I know the special edition came out in November. Can;t remember about the regular edition. I know it was before Sept. 16 b/c my SIL got it for her b-day.

so August sounds about right, doesn't it? What is on the special edition that I don't have on my regular one?

their website says the british dvd will be out june 6th so who knows

The FOTR 2 disc was out in Aug and the 4 disc was in November if that helps

The 4 disc set had a LOT of extras, I don't know what the 2 disk set has but the 4 disk has extra footage, lots of interviews with the cast, behind the scenes stories and how-did-they-do-that interviews with the special effects people and artists.
