Too much food IMHO but that is up to you. It seems you might be spending more time eating than touring the parks.

We haven't tried any of your choices except Crystal Palace and Mama Melrose and both were for dinner. We enjoyed them both.

IMHO, I wouldn't want to be touring MK in the afternoon after a big buffet lunch.

We are going to get the DDP so we are trying to fill the BLD in with the dinning places what would u do diffrent?

I am assuming you are on the deluxe dining plan and staying three nights. I believe you are using to many credits. The credits are by night so you would only have nine credits. We have done this once and tried to do a signature and a table service instead of three meals. Also I noticed on some days eating at three different parks you are going to spend most of your time eating and traveling from parks. I would try for late breakfasts or early lunch's with the signature dinner. You can use snack credits to get fruit or pastries for breakfast on some days. We have done everything but Cinderella's Royal table and Maya Grill really enjoy all of them. Do you just have one daughter or other children. Also it will be food and wine festival while you are there and you can try different food at epcot

I would do Crystal Palace and Cinderellas Royal Table one day

Tusker House and rainforest cafe

Princess Storybook and the Spirit of Luau

Chef Mickeys or 1900 Park Faire the morning you leave.

The way I figure it there is 3 of us so 3 of us for 4 days would be 36 credits. or do u not get the same amount on check out day? 4 days 3 nights for 3 people? I want to make sure I add them up right. then the snak credits as well.
I am just trying to make everything work. thank you

The dining plan is based on the number of "nights".

So based on your dates, it looks like it's just 3 nights. If you are doing the Deluxe Dining Plan, that would be 9 CS/TS credits per person for the entire stay, plus 2 snack credits per day.

4 days 3 nights for 3 people?

It's 3 nights. 3 nights for 3 people 3 credits per day = 27 credits. Honestly, I would never recommend the deluxe dining plan for a first visit, especially when you only have 3 days. I'd rather go with the regular dining plan, with only one table service dinner/breakfast and one counter service lunch per day. You are going to spend all your time eating.

Small child?....She will be 14.. Is that a small child?

Don't forget that Cinderella's royal table is a signature meal which means it takes 2 credits per person instead of 1.

Spirit of aloha also takes 2 credits per person.

edited: never mind it looks like it adds up correctly now!

The change is alot better, not as much traveling for meals. A 14yr old is considered an adult at Disney.

As Chelley00 mentioned, the 18th might be a bit overload. You've got breakfast at Epcot, lunch at Hollywood Studios and then dinner at the Polynesian. That could be a lot of time spent eating and running around and not as much enjoying the parks depending on park hours and what time you eat.

I'm also going in Oct. and I have all our dining places picked, but I'm holding off on planning the days themselves until I can get a better hand on the park hours. It hasn't been easy because I just want to plan, plan, plan, but I have to hold myself back.

And I see someone else did confirm Spirit of Aloha is 2 credits. I wasn't sure. You might want to cut out the Mama Melrose that day so you can put the credit towards SOA.

That looks better in my opinion. And keep in mind, you'll be there during Food & Wine at Epcot, so you can probably use some snack credits there on the 18th.

That is a lot of food for one trip. You will spend all of your time running from meal to meal. Eating at a table service restaurant always takes longer than you think it will in my experience. It is also a lot of character meals, if I am not mistaken. That might get boring fast. Some restaurants we enjoy are Le Ceiller which is in the Canada pavilion at Epcot or '50s prime time cafe in DHS. We also love "ohana which is at the Poly. For a 14 year old girl she might not like all of the character buffets which have a lot of small kids

I would also suggest looking at the menus and dining section of allearsnet.com. There is a lot of good info. there for a 1 st time traveler

I haven't been before, but think Jody summed it up well. The food isn't free, but from what I've read, you can usually use snack credits for much of the food. The wine is definitely not free and not covered by any of the snack credits.

It's at Epcot World Showcase and it runs through October.
