I know it's early but.....Halloween Party Ideas????

We are thinking about having a Halloween Party for my dd10 and ds who will be 12 in October. The problem is I am having trouble coming up with ideas. Both kids want to do some of the games we have done in the past so I have that part covered but wanted to do some type of scary house or something. We have had 2 parties in the past but it has been 2 years since the last one. At both parties we did a Crazy Scientist Lab with the brains, and eyeballs and such, and we don't really want to do it again.

We don't really have anybody that can help so that makes it a little more difficult. It will just be me and DH....I can probably get my DSis and DBIL but not sure about that. We also don't have a garage or basement. We do have a screenhouse so that is an option we can use outside....or maybe some ideas for something in the house would be great.

Anybody done anything like this and have any ideas? I am thinking any type of DIY things will take some time to put together so that is why I am fishing for ideas now.

we usually do a mummy wrap.. the kids wrap the dad's in toliet paper, best mummy wins (mom's are always taking pics so we can't get wrapped.. smart aren't we!!), we stopped carving pumpkins because it took too long and was too messy for everybody but you can always do awards for best costumes and scavenger hunts are always a hit!
i'm subscribing because my friend is doing the Halloween party this year and I love to hear ideas!!
(her theme is Alice in Wonderland, we are stringing playing cards, using a long table and odd chairs for the food, lots of odd size stuff (jars for candy's, flower arrangements) glow bracelets, lanterns, candles and she is making the caterpillar from a bunch of balloons.. I'm just a LITTLE excited if you can't tell!!!
