I'm getting all hyped up about the holidays out at Disney and was hopping some people could post their favorite pictures of fall and christmas decorations to help soothe my holiday disney mania!!

I'll add first.
Warning...these pictures are from my point and shoot that didn't have a very good night time setting. Hopefully this year I'll have either a dSLR or a better point and shoot...

Thanks for getting it started. I really want to add my own photos but I can't find my Disney Christmas pictures anywhere on my computer! ARGH! :confused3

THere is nothing like leaving the snow and cold of Chicago for 80 degree temps in orlando. AND CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AT DISNEY!!!!

My wife has been browsing these boards for years, I just signed up tonight when I stumbled across the photography site. What a concept, merging Disney with Photography. We have always loved Disney World and I am really getting into photography now. I just purchased my first DSLR and have been shooting everything I can before our trip this November.

Our favorite time is during the Christmas holidays, I am posting some pictures of the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade taken with my trusty Canon A80. These shots are from 2005 and I have to say that the toy soldiers are my favorite. I have plenty of other shots from the holiday time as well including the parks and hotels. I can post more if requested, but did not want to overstep my bounds on my first post.

I was just going to post and ask you if these were taken in 2005, they look identical to my parade pictures from that year, then I read your post intro and saw that they were, how funny! It even looks like we were standing in the same spot. Just curious, were you there on Dec 20th by any chance, maybe we stood right next to each other without knowing we were both DISsers. :rotfl: Here's one of mine.

We don't go that late into the month. We usually go the Friday after Thanksgiving to see the decorations, catch the Christmas party and get back before Christmas is upon us. It does look like the same spot, much easier time getting a place at these parades than the normal parades.

These are great, can you post more? We have never been there in the fall and my kids loved looking at these shots.

Thanks,

I can give you a few more, although they are maybe not such good quality as the others, and my kids are in one of them. ;) Magic Kingdom was the only park that was decorated. I have been there on Halloween in 2000, and the decorations were *incredible*. I would recommend that everyone try to go to WDW around Halloween and try to go to MNSSHP at least once in their lives... it was just incredible.

It was Food and Wine Festival time, so Epcot was all decorated up for that. :thumbsup2
