I bought DH a really nice Valentines card that talks about how wonderful it is to snuggle with him as I fall asleep at the end of the day. The card was so nice that I had to buy it. Once I got hom I started thinking about the truth. Really, it is nice to snuggle with DH right up to the point where he falls asleep. Then the bed starts to shake, the cat runs, & with in seconds of closing his eyes he begins to snore so loudly that the children tucked in their beds on the other side of the house begin to complain. So, would it be so terribly wrong if I included some of those nose strips that are supposed to help with snoring? If you think about it, it could be a really romantic gift.

OMG, that is so funny! I'd do it....my DH is very good natured and has a great sense of humor....if yours does as well, go for it

do not waste your money buying those strips, THEY DO NOT WORK,, the way to stop snoring is to lose weight, if needed, and/or surgery to remove a flap of skin at back of throat that vibrates as one breathes

H...yeah!

And those strips work for some of us! In the early stages of a cold or bad allergies, they help both DH & I, but DH rarely snores anymore for no reason, since he dropped some weight.

I use the stips every night. I rarely snore, but the strip make it easier for me to breath. I have allergies and the strips do help.

I would be completely confused due to the fact that I am absolutley, positively, 100% sure that I have never, ever, ever snored for even a second in my whole entire life! No matter what anybody says!

My DH would think it was hysterical! He uses those strips...usually at my insistance...lol. They don't completely stop the snoring, but they certainly do help to minimize the noise!

I woke up last night to his snoring serenade and actually told him to turn over. He was snoring in my ear and I couldn't sleep...

If my snoring was keeping DH awake and I was aware of it, then I wouldn't take offense to it at all. I would probably snicker or roll my eyes...and then look for the flowers or candy that's supposed to go with the card!

OP...you know your DH, if you know he wouldn't take offense to it, the do it! I know that my DH would find it pretty funny!

That's my husband!!! Very funny, sometimes I actually get up in the middle of the night and tape a "breath Right" strip on his nose while he's sleeping/snoring. They don't work perfectly but it's certainly better than nothing. Yes to a previous poster, the solution is to lose weight but that iasn't going to happen just overnite while the snoring is bothering me!!! I would be awfully tired if I didn't sleep at all until my DH lost weight.
