July 16th the Magic is not sailing. Instead it will sail on the 17th for a 6 night cruise. Speculation is that in addition to celebrating Disneyland's 50th year that day might also be used to make DCL announcements.

We want to do a DCL 7 day cruise in 2007. I would only sail out of Florida, Flying to CA is not an option. I live in NJ and am not ready for that long flight to CA. I've been waiting for the 2007 rates to be released so that I can book early. I guess I better have a back up plan, just in case.
Are there any cruise lines that come close to Disney with the shows and kid's clubs.

Yes, you could do that. Even though I live in CA I still like the ports in Carribean better. And, Castaway Cay is always a plus...

I'll probably just book with another line if they don't have 7 day cruises for the summer of 2007.

Just wanted to add I am in completely agree with you! I'm in CA as well. the weather will be better in FL, (too much June Gloom here!) Comparing the prices as well, It was cheaper for us to fly to Florida, stay one night at a hotel, get a better stateroom, and STILL SAVED money!!!! The CA cruises are expensive - but there is a lot of money out here, so DCL will get it!
