I know that I banked my points in November by the deadline (I have a June UY). I have it checked off in my to do list in my planner. I happened to log on today to check something out (I usually don't spend much time on DVC online) and the points are still there. Now I can only bank 1/2 of the points. I am sooo upset. I don't have any confirmation except for in my planner.

Any thoughts, suggestions or similar experiences?

call tomorrow and check with ms about it.

I banked points 2 days ago and was given confirmation number for the banking. You should have one that would confirm the transaction.

You probably marked the number down somewhere, keep looking.

If I banked them on-line would I still be given a confirmation number?
Yes you do get a confirmation number. When I banked points online late last fall I remember printing out the confirmation info since online banking was still so new. In view of what you have posted, I think I will continue to do so!

I hope MS is able to help you out.

Do you remember when in Nov you did this? Around Thanksgiving time I was doing a day by day ressie and had banked points the first day I called. The next day when I called, I was told I didn't have any points available. Well, after a couple of minutes MS realized they had a big computer glitch that had taken place. Took them most of the day to get it corected. Evidently everyone that had called the day before had problems with their account if they had banked points. Mine actually ended up in a holding account but MS didn't know why.
I believe this happened the Tues or Wed before Thanksgiving.

My use year is also June, I banked points on Novemebr 28, 2006 on-line through the DVC website. I received an E-Mail with my confirmation number that same day.

Hope you can get this corrected please let us know.

I think the same thing happened this weekend. Here's my story. We jsut purchased 135 points at SSR in Jan. When we bought our guide told us to call MS and bank to '06 points into '07 so we could use them. I did that. No problem.

This weekend (2/3) I went online to bank my new SSR 135 points that I got on Feb. 1st for the '07 into '08. I tried - said it didn't work. I tried again a few hours later - said it didn;t work. Finally it took. I printed out the paper and it said that I banked 135 points from the feb. '07 use year into Feb. '08 use year. OK.

I check online and now I have over 500 points in my SSR contract for '07!!!!! A little more investiagting online discovers that when I banked online they took 135 points from '06 and banked it into '07. It was as if they banked TWO sets of 135 from '06 into '07.

I called MS today and she told me that I banked it incorrectly. I explained to her that the paper I have in front of me states '07 into '08. She insisted that I made the mistake. Well she said that she would manually bank the points for me. Well the site says that she banked the points but I still have an extra 135 points from the double banking in my '07 use year. ARGH!!!!!!!!

I have to call again tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone else. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for all of your posts. I actually think that I banked when there was a computer glich b/c I had off the week of Thanksgiving and that is when I got a bunch of things done.

Fortunately, MS did not give me any problems and banked the points for me. I actually thought the situation was a good excuse to use the points before June but neither of the two times I could go were available. Bummer.

I'm thinking they have some major errors with their accounting system because my points are all screwed up. I banked all my 2006 pts into 2007 and borrowed all but 9 points into 2007 for a reservation I have from Nov 23-Dec 2. I went to check my account and it says that I have only 39pts in 2009 when it should be 630. It isn't possible to use 2009 pts yet so I emailed member services to find out what is happening. Hopefully I will get an answer soon. Joan:confused3

I agree that MS must be having problems with their on-line banking as this is the message showing when I log into my account:

Currently, Disney Vacation Club is not allowing Vacation Points banking activity online for any contracts for administrative purposes.

They are obviously aware of a problem and hopefully are working on it.

I have the same issue. If you look at the overall summary for your contract, it is probably wrong. Mine shows I borrows points from 2009 instead of from 2008. If you look at the DETAIL of the contract though, it is probably correct. I have 7 subcontracts under our main contract and they are all correct at the detail level. Very odd.
