I know better but thinking of winging it with only one ADR this trip? Am I crazy?

If you are fine with quick service or with choosing from what restaurants are available, then why not? For me planning ADRs is a lot of the fun. But not everyone is like that, and that is ok. You have to go with whatever feels right.

I think it depends on your personality, whether you are comfortable with winging it or more comfortable with having reservations farther ahead. Some people are happy one way and miserable the other way.

I'm with you. I leave on Tuesday and feel like I have too many ADRs for our 9 night trip. I have a perfect day and time for both CRT and California Grill. Keeping those and probably canceling the rest and figuring it out as we go. I love open table for Disney springs! Have a reservation for our arrival night. Would never make an ADR in case anything with travel goes wrong.

I also find planning ADRs a lot of fun. It's the actual rushing around and going to the ADRs once I get there I find a magic killer! lol

Sounds like me, I booked ADRs for every day and cancelled them all except Crystal Palace breakfast already. Then rebooked California Grill. lol I keep trying to snag a lunch ADR at Beaches and Cream for our pool day at Stormalong Bay. Other than that, I'm done....I think. lol

You should be fine but my overplanning IT soul just shudders at the thought of doing what you are doing.

Most trips, I only have one or at most two ADR's. Many we don't do any!

Same day, if we feel like it, I just see what's available.

I find it's much more of a relaxing vacation that way.

I have literally never made an ADR in a park. Never starved or had an awful time.

This was us before we started staying onsite with the DDP. We were just fine with QS. I'm getting a bit sick of Disney TS food TBH.

On this past trip that I just returned from yesterday I cancelled 2 of my adr's and decided to wing it. I couldn't find any replacements for the 2 cancelled ADR's in or near the parks I was at for the several hour time frame I was looking for. I was attempting to make the ADR's the day before using MDE.
I ended up eating quick service for those 2 meals because I didn't want to go to a different area for ADR's. (I have Tables in Wonderland and wasn't on a dining plan for anyone who was wondering)

So in the future I will make sure I book new ADR's for the cancelled ones more than 24 hours before I go. Just my recent experience during a time that ended up being more crowded than I expected.
