Stacy! I've missed you too, though it sounds like you've been off on an adventure.
Thanks for the cat consolation hugs. We're really doing OK over here. I was just talking to my DH about how many times Nicky worried me - he was the only one of our cats we'd let go out anymore, and we have an invisible fence, but there have been so many times that I have worried about him. Because he was out all night or wasn't coming when I called. Heck, he even, we think, survived a minor car accident - came home with abrasions on his face and the skin and fur from the tip of his tail just GONE and the bone protruding. He's gotten into fights with other cats where we had to take him to the vet to get him patched up. But he was insane if he couldn't go out, so we had this compromise. Of all the ways he could have gone, I never would have predicted that he would be a cat we'd take to the vet because he was just too sick and frail to go on. Evidently, his motto was "Live fast, die old and exhausted."
There is just the one Minnie thread - it's not the most happening, though they are starting to talk about meets now anyway......you want I should post the link or have you found that one?
I have been doing pretty well with the training, but I'm thinking that 2 on Monday may have pushed me over the proverbial edge this week. I've got some tight leg muscles that I don't want to aggravate. So I'm resting tomorrow and I'll do the purple linament stuff and maybe some ice and see how it goes. Dig out the stretching book too, I think. I've got the long run on Sunday - hopefully the weather will cooperate. I am thinking of doing 7. Legs and weather permitting, of course. I think I'd better find something else to do on Mondays instead of slamming another 2 onto the end of the previous day's long run. Maybe a nice spinning class or something. It will, of course, cut into my rockin' mileage. Unless there's an odometer on the bike, I guess. And then it could really help my mileage. For the challenge, anyhow. I couldn't count that as running miles, obviously.
I'm going to paste February's mileage count for the team over here as well. So I don't lose it.
And so I can brag. I am all about the bragging.
