I Just Want to Start Packing!

Can I, can I???

It feels like the next 6 weeks are going to FLY by with how busy we are becoming.

Between baseball, graduation parties, birthday parties, play dates...the time will fly! I just hope time slows to a crawl once we get to WDW!

But maybe I should start packing a little???

Of course you should start packing!!! No use waiting til the last minute!! HAHA At least you could start putting aside the suntan lotion, aspirin, Tylenol for the kids, cough medicine, eye drops, shampoo, etc! And you do have to start putting aside the kids' clothes - there's a lot to do!!!

The month of May has been very busy for us too - one DD birthday is May 16, the other DD birthday is May 20. One is graduating college, the other is graduating 8th grade. And I have a niece who just had a birthday! The time is flying by!

And, like you, I hope our time at Disney doesn't go by too fast!!! Have a great trip!!!!!

I got my DME tags, so I HAD to start packing!

I have my toiletry bag almost done and the kids' toiletry bag just needs shampoo and conditioner.

I packed some of my kids' clothes that I know they won't be wearing until summer really kicks in, and since we leave on June 23rd, they won't need them until we're in WDW. I also packed bathing suits and I'm going to pack two big beach towels for each of the kids tonight after I do some laundry.

My DH laughed at me, but this way, I'll know what I need to still get and won't be running around too much at the last minute.

My DS is missing the last two days of school - they had two snow days to tack on and they did that after our trip was booked, so I really won't have any time between my last of school (I'm a teacher and I'm done on June 19th) and leaving at 4am on the 23rd (I just love early flights, don't you?)

Yay! It feels more official that the suitcases are waiting to be filled!!!

Right around my 45 day mark I like to start putting things together. I may seem spoiled but I like to take "new" items with me, like shampoo, lotion, and other toiletries...I also like looking for bargins at Target...LOVE THOSE RED CLEARANCE STICKERS....I usually find some cute tops for the girls and I, maybe slipper socks or a cute bag?? I just love knowing it will be something special for the trip.
So maybe that is not actual "packing" but I do "collect" items and keep them in the store bags until I officially start my packing....such a fun ritual that gets me in the mood for GOING TO DISNEY!

Tomorrow will be our 90 day mark and I have started buying little things we will need. Also picked up some new clothes already. Can't wait to have my bags packed and be at the door waiting for the Taxi. Tomorrow I make my ADR's and I am so excited. Doing the happy dance!!! . Just don't want it to come & go too fast. Enjoy.

I'm constantly gathering things for our next WDW vacation. We go to WDW every Summer so I pick up things here and there all year long. I have a Disney box in the closet. I dont' actually start packing the suitcases until three or four days prior to our departure date.

I don't understand why the wait for the vacation goes by soooo slowly but the time you are on vacation goes sooooo quickly.

We have 4 months, and I just finished my prelim. packing list today. I have a box in my closet that I will go through and see what I still have and what I need to buy. I will probably get started pretty quickly so that I don't have to buy everything all at once.

Slowly counting down the days. We're now at 57!

We leave in 14 days I have started packing a few weeks ago you really don't know how much your going to needuntil you start packing and the rest of the group hasn't even thought about it oh well. I am happy I am not the only one who packs early

We leave in 15 days and I am almost finished packing. Everything is done except for clothes, which I will do a couple of days before. Plane backpacks for me, DD5 and DS2 are done too. I'm pretty excited because it looks like for the four of us we will only have 3 suitcases - 2 large and one small. I wish I could leave right now...

This is what I do as well! Clearly (as my ticker indicates) it's too early for me to start actually packing. I actually started writing an addendum to my packing list so tonight I am going to actually retype the whole list and make it a little more organized. But over the last few weeks I've been picking up little things here and there. I was at Walmart and they had a great little purse with Thumper on it for only $14 so I bought that, and I got a pair of capri sleeping pants with Mickey on them that I plan to bring with me on our trip. I'll start shopping for our toiletries within the next couple of weeks. I also need to buy a new suitcase since I broke mine last year.

We don't leave till November 27th and I've already started to pack. Yes I know...my husband and parents think I'm nuts but my kids understand. Can you tell that I can't wait to leave.
