I just voted my punch card ballot . . .

and when I got finished, I went through the ballot and matched up the little holes in the punch card for the races I'm most concerned about -- senate, congress, county commissioners and school board. All the holes were in the right place and punched all the way through and there were no hanging chads.

My precinct seemed to be having a somewhat higher than expected turnout. There were supporters giving out information about three candidates I had no intention of voting for and one I voted for. I took the stuff from the ones I wasn't supporting and declined the material for the person I voted for -- I told his supporters to give it to someone who still needed persuading.

We have electronic voting here in Harris County, Texas. It was pretty cool.

I live within a mile of Harris County but across the line in Brazoria County and work in Houston fklhou, but we still used the butterfly ballot with the punch card system. I was suprised that there was no electronic voting here.

we have electronic voting here too, on a touch screen. this is my second time using it, but as i've mentioned here before, it just doesn't feel the same to me, somehow.

I'm in Harris County too. Just got back from voting using the new electronic machines. I was a bit worried going in, but they were incredibly easy to use.

It was very easy to use. I actually voted for two Republicans for judge today even though they had democratic opponents.
