I just spoke to a grumpy CM

Just rang to make two more ADR's and the lady I spoke to sounded really grumpy! After telling her what I wanted, how many were in the party, the time etc she confirmed it on the wrong day. I corrected her, she misheard
25th as the 21st (even though I'd said the day of the week as well). I asked her to confirm my booking on the 21st (Liberty Tree Tavern for MNSSHP night) and she said she couldn't but it would be OK anyway. I thought if you booked two dinners on the same night something on their system would have popped up. I wish I could get a confirmation printout before we go to make sure everything's OK. I thought I could stop worrying now. I was going to ask her to make a note on our reservation about our 25th Wedding Anniversary but she was not at all happy I didn't dare!

Sorry to hear your experienced a bad CM. Luckily they are only a fair few CM you dont really want to encounter. Did you get a name? If so it might be worth complaining about her. If your worried ring back and ask to speak to someone else if you encounter her again if you dont mention her name and complain about her.

You probably just caught her at the start of her day. She is either tired or moody. Either way ring them back and double check.

oh dear, I guess maybe she is very busy with the free dining just been announced in the USA, maybe she is tired.
 
I think her name was Lisa, she just didn't seem interested in my call, she didn't ask the same information like booking confirmation number, my phone number and my address the same as others I spoke to earlier in the week. I'd just read that some people really feel the magic when they ring up, I felt nothing. Maybe its me! I was very nice to her, wished her good morning, plenty of thankyous. I know its early in the day for them, maybe she had an awkward customer before my call. Have to ring again on Monday to book Raglan Road, I'll see what happens then.
 

About Raglan Rd, when I called to book it, the CM said you have to call them directly, here's the number : 407-938-0300 The lady I spoke with there had a beautiful Irish accent! It really made look forward to eating there!:)

I booked raglan rd on the normal ADR number, :confused3
 
Thanks for that number Jonslola, it just goes to show how information can differ between CM's. I did ask whether I have to ring Raglan Road direct but I was told to ring Disney dining back at 180 days out. We plan on eating there on the night we are seeing Cirque du Soleil (6pm) show. Would you advise before or after the show?
 
I had a CM once who wandered off and started chatting to his friend, leaving me (expensively) on the phone! I hung up and called back.
 
raglan road CAN be booked using the normal ADR number however you cannot book it before 180 days (for example it doesn't apply to the 180 days plus 10 rule )

We ate at Raglan Road last year after seeing the Cirque du Soleil show and really enjoyed our meal and the Cirque show was excellent!
 
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience-no excuse really. I would definatley ring back and just ask to clarify . I have done it a few times just to double and triple check we have them booked. I always ring about 11pm and don't have much of a wait to speak to someone .I don't think they always ask for the address details especially if you already have some ADR'S booked.

I think I know why I was told to call them direct, I was making ADR's for a group of 19. The CM didn't actually say that was why, I'm just assuming, sorry for all the confusion!:confused3
