I Just Saved 5% On My Annual Dues!!!

This is a great thread. I will look into the Target thing today and post back what i find. We own 855 pts at OKW and any saving would be nice. Usually we pay off the entire amount on a credit card for pts or something. But, if i can get some of it with the 5% deal with Target i will do that. Will keep you posted from Minnesota. Think i will try the 3 Targets in our area.

I imagine the dues on 855 points will require you to go to 3 Targets just to get enough gift cards. The biggest denomination they sell is $50. Maybe if DVC'rs start buying them up in bulk, they will start selling $100 ones.

Not looking to pay off my entire bill but if it was like $1,000 or $1,500 i think i might as well try. I have 4 contract so i can pay off each separate if i want as long as they get paid by due date. If i was able to pay off all on the gift card promo i could save about $230 plus dollars. That would be nice. But, lots of cards to call in. If the numbers on the cards all ran together that would make it easy to do. Which me luck.

Ok, hear me out on this... I am going to purchase 160,000 $50 Target gift cards in order to purchase the 8 million dollar condo I want to buy at the Golden Oak development. This will save me $400,000 on my purchase! I wonder how long it will take MS to process all those cards?

On a more serious note, I want to thank the OP for this thread since I was able to purchase several cards at Target this weekend for our upcoming trip in 3 days. A 5% savings on top of our TIW card savings is great.

Does anyone know if the Disney Store would allow you to make a large card out of a bunch of smaller ones?

I would rather call DVC with four $500 cards than stick them with the stack I have.
