I Just Rode NEMO...

I almost got to ride tonight.

They were doing the soft opening again this evening. We were there around 7pm. We were in line for a while and it wasn't moving regularly, but I didn't think much about it since I didn't know how it loaded. Then, the lights in the waiting area came on and the CM's started having everyone exit. There were people on the ride, but it was stopped. They had the control panel opened and someone was checking it out when we walked through. We'll have to wait for the DVC and AP preview this weekend (13-15). I thought the CM told me it would open on the 16th, but I could be mistaken.

Any idea if the ride track is longer than the old Seacabs track? Im guessing its the same length (which was pretty short)

We have friends and family at Disney this week thru the coming weekend, and they are anixous to take the ride too. I can't wait to hear what they have to say about it. I would call them them, but tonight they are at the MNSSHP, so I'm sure I'll hear tomorrow.

Um, I think that was Captain Ahab. Captain Nemo was the sub captain in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Jules Verne, and then done by Disney in a movie I think) - and of course, to the new generation, a clown fish.
