Since we have been trying for 3 weeks to get a site at FW, and still can't, we are doing something different. We are going for the Everness preview party with 6 different couples. They are staying in different hotels on property: some are staying at GF, others at WL, and one is staying at Boardwalk, two are at the AKL. Each has registered us as staying in their room and we will have room keys for each hotel. We are going to boondock in the AKL parking lot for 4 nights. This will work out great for us because it will cost us less than $20 a day to stay at Disney and get all the benefits; but we can't stay in the hotel, because we travel with a dog. The other great thing is, we can pool hop to the other pools and not have a problem. This will be the cheapest 4 nights we have ever spent at Disney.

Dont you think that the CM's at AKL are going to be a little suspicious of you living out of camper in their parking lot? I doubt they will let you get away with it.....

No I have a room key in my name for length of stay,as Disney looks at it, we have a room at AKL.

Agree! Don't think for a second they are going to let you sleep in the parking lot. They survey the parking lots like dogs. You can try, but I'd line up some alternative accomodations. BTW there is the Disney Kennel Club right by the Poly you could house your dog there.

We have done this before, security stops by and asks if you have a room key. Once you show the key, you are left alone for the rest of the stay. You are a guest of the hotel.

As long as you feel comfortable cheating your way to sleep in a parking lot with a dog, go for it. :rolleyes2 Seriously, why anyone would choose to do this is beyond me. BTW, what do you do with the dog when you go to the parks? Please tell me you have a plan to keep him/her out of the car during the extremely hot day

I'm sorry we are staying in our Motorcoach. We have bathroom, the best king size bed money can buy and 4 A/C units that run all the time.

Maybe you could try Tropical Palms. I'm sorry, but I just think it is wrong. Pets are not allowed at any hotels, what are you going to do when the dog needs to go out?

Love to see your new Newell. We'll stop by and say hi since we will be there for EE. Should be easy to find since the slides will be out and the chairs set up not to mention the table and umbrella. :rotfl:

Are you going to have green ribbons on the wipers? If not, DW can make a couple for a house warming gift. :rotfl2:

We stayed at the AlStarMusic last september and , parked in the back of the lot was a RV, we noticed it the whole time we were there for 8 days, one night when we were coming back from a meal off site, we watched as hotel police checked the RV, they had a parking tag for the hotel, and the police just moved on, they also had a Lab dog we noticed many times being walked off towards the street. Just telling you what I seen, the RV was checked about the third or fourth night of our stay and I never seen them having to move by police.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but are you going to run your generator the entire time, to have your AC going? Also if your friends added you to all of their hotel room, they will have the pay the adult supplement in each room which I believe is $25 per adult at the deluxe.

My coach runs 90% of the time on batteries an inverter system runs the whole coach plus A/Cs the generator comes on every two hours for twenty min. to charge the house battery. Some of my freinds are getting extra room keys for us so we can pool hop. One friend will tell Disney they have a coach plus a car to get two parking passes. :cool1:

No offense but this seems kinda weird. :smooth: Why would anyone want to spend 4 nights in a parking lot (even if it is a Disney parking lot)? If they are putting you on their hotel room to get the benefits, why don't you just stay at a off-site CG and put you dog in the DW kennel during the day while you are at the parks?

I thought that when you thought out of the box at Disney you weren't going to tell anyone, LOL!

It's too bad you couldn't get a site at FW

Guess you never saw a NEWELL motorcoach. We're talking about a million dollar house on wheels here.

I stand corrected!!! :rolleyes1 Million? That's definitely not a VW Hippie Wagon :hippie:

So this is a million dollar motorcoach, but they don't have $$ to spend on a hotel room or villa? I'm not buying it.

I know I read a post about a woman who got a condo (Orbit?) on Skyauction for roughly $200 for a week.

I don't think it's really necessary to live in the hotel parking lot. Whether it's technically against the rules or not, it does seem to be CLASSLESS.
