I Just Put Together The Best Disney Trip

I could spend on a hotel room or villa but why stay in a room and on a bed that 1000’s have slept in and left their love goo. I can stay in my motor coach that is nicer than any room or villa at WDW. I'm not sleeping in the back seat of a car. Once I get in the coach I will not even know I’m in a parking lot. As far as the dog, he will never be in a kennel.

You may want to check, in person, with Ft. Wilderness the day you arrive. I was told there were no cabins right up to the time I walked into check in. Good luck and have fun, whatever route you choose.

I can understand the not wanting to stay in a hotel part, we don't stay in hotels either. I think the issue that most people have is that you are skirting the rules, and that is your perogative, but it's just upsetting to know how much some are paying to stay at disney, and you will get the same perks for less money. Make sense? I also am not keen on kennels....
Me personally, I don't care what anyone does, as long as I get to keep my spot for my little 5th wheel (which at least I did replace the mattress in for a GOOD one, ROFL, cause I don't like bad mattresses!) for October in FW!!

My dog will never be in a kennel either. That's why we have friends or the dog walker pet sit for him. And as far as love goo, I'm sure no one appreciates the "goo" residue your dog leaves when he does his business.

We are staying at FW this year again but once when we stayed at AKL I went out to the parking lot to my car and they were towing a Motorhome away and security was there and I asked was it broke down and he replied Illegally parked. When we were staying at WL I noticed several Motorhomes parked in the lot on the right hand side of the hotel and even noticed a man walkin his dog in the grass by the parking lot, that was the overflow lot by WL not the main lot.

Since we have been trying for 3 weeks to get a site at FW, and still can't, we are doing something different. We are going for the Everness preview party with 6 different couples. They are staying in different hotels on property: some are staying at GF, others at WL, and one is staying at Boardwalk, two are at the AKL. Each has registered us as staying in their room and we will have room keys for each hotel. We are going to boondock in the AKL parking lot for 4 nights. This will work out great for us because it will cost us less than $20 a day to stay at Disney and get all the benefits; but we can't stay in the hotel, because we travel with a dog. The other great thing is, we can pool hop to the other pools and not have a problem. This will be the cheapest 4 nights we have ever spent at Disney.

Is your nose growing? :lmao: Sometimes I think people post messages like this just to see how many people they can get fired up.

:teacher: If all 6 couples register you they'll each have to pay extra for you not to mention what the Disney System will say about one couple staying in 6 different rooms or they lied and said you were children. Then there is the dog who will need to utilize the great outdoors. I don't think AKL guests and security people are going to enjoy Fido leaving deposits around the resort. And then of course there is the pool hopping. :rotfl: Was that just a bonus to get people fired up?

If you're really doing this I hope you're prepared to get your dog out of the pound and your motorcoach out of the local junkyard if/when it is towed out of the AKL parking lot. After 9/11 I'm sure security has been increased to not only more patrols but also cameras to observe activity around the resorts. Maybe you should get people like hezell123 to not book sites at FW then leave them unused so as to take advantage of the perks.

I would love the chance to sleep in a Newell motor home, as we've just moved up to a pop-up after many decades of tent camping. Somehow I think this is a bit tongue in cheek cuz you could even get rooms at one of the Values and legitimately park the RV there. And I bet you even know how to pick up after your dog :maleficen

Well, we just got back from our EE trip. Drove 2.5 hrs. for the ride and it was the greatest. My new #1 ride.

After our journey to EE at AK we drove over to AKL and then to WL and didn't see the NEWELL. Must have been cloaked. Will have to wait for a trip to FW to put the ribbon on.

AGREE!! I think OP is just :stir:

HHHHEEEEELLLLLOOOOOOO, Stillh2o, did you go on your "camping trip" for Everest? Just wanted to know where you ended up staying and if you enjoyed the new AK ride?

This poster has stirred up things before. I personally don't believe it. But if it were true, Boondocking is not allowed at WDW, and if I were staying at a resort and saw this, I would turn them in, million dollar coach or not. I turned in about 5 who were boondocking in the overflow lot at FW last October and Disney security cleared the lot. I was told - boondocking is not allowed in any parking lots at WDW, no exceptions.

I would turn them in also ... this sucks.

Can we just let this troll go ... we have wasted enough bandwith ... check his/her past posts. He/she is not running on all seven dwarfs.

I don't know if I believe it or not, but it's fun to read about. It's true some of the numbers don't add up, but it doesn't matter much to me.

If it's fake, it's not doing any harm, and is giving us all something to talk about.

If it's real, it's very likely someone will turn them in. And if resort ids work to allow them to be there, then that's Disney's problem, not mine. Especially if the part about FW being full is true as well.

I was thinking about it, and I was wondering if I would prefer the big busses to be parked far away from my pop up anyhow. Might be quieter at the fort that way.

I read a discussion board about atlantic city nj and we had a poster who was making up stories and pretending to be someone else. I had a good time reading the fake trip reports. Sure, they were over the top, but they were much more interesting than, "went to ac on tuesday night, played the quarter slots for 2 hours and lost $50. Got my free toaster and went home." :Pinkbounc

I have had a friend who parked their motor home in the resort parking lot while they were staying at the resort. They did some days at the campground, and some days at the resort. I've often seen campers/motor homes in the parking lots.
I do think that most folks who own a million dollar rig would prefer to be at the campground.. and if your friends were at the other resorts it isn't a problem for them to get permission for you to swim at their resorts. You are a disney guest also. We had friends who were at the WL a few years ago, and her brother was coming to have dinner with them, and they asked if they could swim, and it wasn't a problem. While you are not supposed to pool hop, you will find that if you approach the desk with your situation..friends at one resort and you are at the other, they very often work it out for you. Not if you are a guest of the Parking lot however. Also find this story hard to believe. Even if you have to pay a fee for it..it would be less than them putting you on each of their rooms..who is going to pay an extra $10.00 per adult per night for you.
I would also try for a same day reservation at FW..they usually always keep a few available for walk ins on the same day. Get there early enough and you might be able to grab one. If I hada million dollar rig..that's where I'd like to be..!

I am not an lawyer, but if disney would have towed a registered vehicle, I guess I would never have a problem getting a campsote at FW again, Mr. Jobs and I would be great pals!!

We are going to boondock in the AKL parking lot for 4 nights.
As we had planned, we boondocked @ Boardwalk, no plans to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Wow!! Guess some people think lies are ok. At least now people can refer to this thread when you come up with your next outlandish story. :lmao:

actually you lied about your ages so you wouldnt have to pay $25 for the 4 adults. Which nulls all contracts..including registered vehicles. So technically they could have you towed and there would be nothing you could do about it because as far as Disney nows you are a child.
