I just noticed something

My reservation confirmation for my December vacation has the trash and towel and full cleaning dates written right on it!!

I have never seen that before. It has to be new. I always change the dates when I get there. I have one set of guests down the first week and a different set the second week. I always tell them to skip the trash and towell and have the full cleaning changed to the day I switch dates.

I haven't changed the dates yet, I do that when I get there.

But not on all reservation papers. I just went to my files back to 97 and it's on most of them, but not all. (Don't ask me why I save those, it's an obsessive compulsion to save anything to do with WDW and especially DVC. But see they did come in handy.)I cannot see a pattern as to why they are on some and not others. I have ressies in here for OKW, BW, Vero, and HH. Do you want me to search for the ressie sheets back to 93??

It's been on reservations for at least two years. Sometimes maybe it is dropped in order to fit all the other info they include (like special requests) or back in the old days to remind you AK wasn't included in the passes. I know sometimes part of the requests will get dropped on the ressie but are in the computer.

if you are staying less than 4 days - it does not apply and therefore it is not on those reservations. but it has been on all of mind - ms says it is so you will know when housekeeping is coming and won't be taken by surprise. or at least that was what I was told in 94.

I have looked at mine every time. I always check for requests, hey, I just like looking at them. I really don't recall ever seeing that before. I always stay for more than four days, usually 12.

12/2 - 12/14, I requested a GV near the turtle pond area. I like that area. There is a snack bar that is open sometimes. Its quiet and at the end. I usually don't even request an area, but after talking with the wife and knowing that there won't be any teenagers, we decided to request that area.

While you can get a bus to and from the hospitality house area from anywhere, we founf that if there are older kids, it seemed to more convinient and enjojable if we were within walking distance of the HH.

I will be the guy in Olivia's scouring the walls to find my picture....I am thinking that they may have used it to make copies and put in the frames they sell at the general store....you know the ones, they always have that extra good looking family.....

It was on our confirmation from OKW last December...of course, they actually came on the day before and the day after the confirmation said, so it didn't do much good as far as planning around them!

we have always kept all of our completed trip reservation forms. Just something we do. Now for all of the ones that we change, that is whole different story.

Now let's get one thing straight,did I lead you to believe I was an organized and careful person? I am so sorry if I did. I said I had my DVC stuff. Don't ask me for my Visa statement, bank statement, or any receipt to return an item. Those are lost in the paper work pile which I occassionally throw away. Now my DISNEY stuff is the really important stuff. That I save!! My priorities are straight!

DRATS!! We are going to be at OKW from Nov 17th to the 26th. We had hopes of meeting the famous (infamous?????) Richyams--but guess it will not work out this year. Anyone going this summer? We'll be there then too--July 14th to the 27th. Our daughter is going to be a member of the Tapestry of Nations/Dreams parade so I'm sure we will be at Epcot every evening!! Regarding the trash and tidy info, it has been on our reservation letters for a long time--and we also keep our old letters, park brochures etc. etc. etc. You just never know when these things will come in handy!! LOL!!

Mine does not have those dates listed on it. We are going at the begining of Jan. I remember it being on there early on, say 93 to 95, but I have not seen it since. Rich, we always stay in the Turtle Pond area because it has the pool and snack area that is not as busy as HH. The snack bar is opened from about 10 am to 5 pm.

I just checked all my past confirmations, and all had the dates on except one, and that one was from 1998. All before and after that one had the dates on. I wonder if the booking CM has to do something special to have that on there, and maybe some don't.

Was not listed on any of my 1993 or 1994 reservations but was listed on March '95 and all reservations from then on. Of course, this is only on reservations of 5-days or longer.

I just 3-hole punch the sheets and put them in the same 3-ring binder with all the other relevant Disney info, including point charts, annual statements, member's guidebook, etc.
