And I am no cook. I can't cook or bake anything. But it actually turned out pretty good! I am so proud of myself! My only thing is it tasted a bit bready inside, like it was just crispy and delicious on the outside, but then just like a regular piece of bread inside. It didn't taste like that at the Crystal Palace, lol. I am wondering what the best kind of bread to use is? If anyone makes this and has any suggestions on the best type of bread, please let me know!

You can either let is sit in the batter longer or let the battered bread sit for a few minutes before putting it to fire.

www.magicalrecipes.net has that recipe and lots more. I have had the puffed French toast recipe saved as a pic on my phone for a few weeks but haven't had time to try it yet.

I love the fellow Disboarders blog The Disney Chef. She actually makes her recipes & posts pics & reviews :) Shes a sweetie. I've sen the website you are talking about though. I love recreating recipes from Disney too :)

Dang, I just love that stuff!!:lovestruc I've also had the recipe bookmarked a while and haven't made it yet. Maybe when we get closer to our trip I can have a few of those Disney Family Meal nights and whip up some puffed french toast!

You are most welcome. There are lots of recipes that would be fun to try at home.

The absolute best bread for French toast is challah. So good!!!! You should definitely let it soak in the custard longer,so that it is softer/my shirt in the middle to get that crispy/soft texture;)

So I decided to make Pooh's Puffed French Toast & it turned out great. Not as good as Crustal Palace obviously but for homemade, yummy!!!

They kindof look like fried chicken in the picture though. Lol
