I just made my PS for blue bayou!

Well I just made my reservation for blue bayou for the fist seating for lunch ...YEAH!!

I thought it was kind of weird they dont give PS numbers for confirmation like they do at WDW. I SURE hope they have me down, and there wont be any surprises when we arrive for lunch!

Only 39 days to go !

Make sure you request a table near the water! Have a great time! We are already counting our days down until January '05!

I asked about a table near the water and she said I needed to do that at the restaraunt...but believe me I will!!! I am prepared to wait if I have to!
My kids are so pumped to eat inside pirates of the caribean!!!

My DH LOVES that Monte Cristo sandwich, in fact, on our first trip to WDW he was disappointed that it wasnt there...at least that we knew of...
And we were fortunate to get a table by the water by accident (didn't know it then how great it was) and my DD who was was 7 at the time, made a scary pose and froze as the boats went by. It was so funny and cute there were some people who took pictures of her as they went by...LOL Kids and their spontaneity! We love going there every time we go to DL as well!

During the first seatings of the day, they don't take request for waterfront seats.

They seat you in the order you made the PS & they start loading the restuarant from the front (waterfront) to the rear.

They make everyone wait in the lobby until opening & start calling families one by one to be seated.

If you were one of the first few families to make a PS for that day, you will definately get a waterfront seat.

If you ask for a confirmation number, they'll give it to you. It's only 5 or 6 letters. Plus I've noticed that when you check in at Disneyland with this information, they could care less. They really just want your name and time.

Yes that is what they said.. I asked for a confirmation # and she said they quit doing them because they never seemed to match the name when the people arrived.
I have just gotten so use to WDW that it freaks me out not to have a # next to my priority seating on my itenarary!!

We're annual passholders and we go all the time. But for Mother's day, I told my husband all I wanted was to go ride TOT. So he booked us a room at the DLH and told me to get tickets to the Mother's day Brunch w/ Cinderella. I gave all my info and asked for a confirmation #. She gave me my five or six letters and told me that it really wouldn't do me any good. On a side note, I was TOTALLY SURPRISED that they didn't need a credit card to hold our seats! I think it might have been because we were staying at the hotel.

Re: Blue Bayou.

Do whatever you can to try and get a table as close to the water as possible. Even the second table to the water.....
I have been blessed with a waterside table, but then year before last my and teen kids went and we had a crappy table right at the server's area (entering and exiting with the food).
so busy.........blech. Loved the sights, sounds, but blech

We've got our seating too for our trip. We loved it so much on the last trip that we have to do it again. We were also lucky and got seated right next to the water the first time.
