That Tim Burton will be directing a version of Alice in Wonderland
in which the Mad Hatter willl possibly be played by Johnny Depp

i think it could possibly be a really cool movie
i'm a huge Fan of Tim Burton movies



Has anyone else heard about this?

Yes, it's old news. And I remember reading somewhere that Lindsay Lohan wanted to play Alice badly and I thought "NO WAY!".

I really hope he pulls it through, he is a great film maker but I love Alice in Wonderland and I won't settle for anything less than a masterpiece!

I'd heard about it almost a year ago. But he's hoping to start filming in November for a 2010 release date.

I'd love to see Johnny play the Hatter. He'd be brilliant. And Alan Rickman could play a fantastic March Hare.

It says that it'll be part live action part CGI. And when they say CGI, I'm hoping they mean just the backdrop of wonderland and such.
