Can't wait! Just got off the phone with Disney Dining. Its for our Nov. trip. DH. myself, my cousin and her husband. My mom is coming along on the trip also, but she agreed to stay behind and watch the kiddos.. I'm a picky eater, I hope I like the food. LOL

Congrats ~ I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.

As a picky eater, please do let us know if you found the experience was worth it. I've always wanted to go to V&A but DW is just a meat & potatoes lover so we felt much of the food would be wasted(and at a considerable price).

WOW!!! Good for you !

Can't wait to read your review. Hope you have a wonderful time!!

Be sure to pace yourself.......... it's 10 courses!!

We've done it a few times (the most recent visit was at the end of January), and although there are certain foods/spices that I don't like- there I'm up for anything.

I try to taste everything, and if I don't like it- I don't eat it!!

You will need to reconfirm with them about a week or two in advance. Be sure to mention any food allergies or dislikes. It will make your experience so much more enjoyable.......

If you need any more information, I'll be around.

Can i ask a dumb question. What resturant is this that person got "Chef Table"??? How much is it? Is the menu already selected for the 10 course menu??

Thanx!

The restaurant is Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian (the only restaurant at WDW with a dress code).

The cost is roughly $125 per person, not including wine.

The menu is a tasting of the dining room menu (in full) and is seasonal- depending on freshness of ingredients.

I hope that this helps.......

It's Victoria and Alberts, in the Grand Floridian hotel.
Menu isn't exactly pre-selected, but the menu is limited and changes almost daily. You get a choice among several options for hot and cold appetizers, soup, dinner itself, dessert, etc.
The meal at the Chef's table does take about 3 hours or so.

I could post our menu when I get home from work, if anyone is interested........

Be sure to pace yourself.......... it's 10 courses!!

Oh my gosh!
Tip 1 - WEAR STRETCH PANTS, lol!

Flower, I'd like to see your menu.

Congrats, Roliepolieoliefan, I hope you have a great experience! :D

Sorry that I didn't post this sooner- I kept forgetting to bring it home from work........
