I don't know if I should take the offer or not. I'm an AP holder also. Will I have to start the reservation process again or will it be applied to an existing reservation? My dates would be 6/28-7/3. Is it too late?

Which would allow me to make a reservation at a discount price(providing there are rooms available @ that discount)

I was able to apply my discount to my existing reservation. I used the Disney Visa room-only code, though, not the 7 for 4.

That's what I'd be doing,applying it to a reservation I already have.

Speaking of Disney Visa card offers, I recently received a flyer about a special offer for Disney shareholders. It includes receiving a complementary Limited-Edition Disney watch when you become a Disney card member.

I wasn't planning to apply for a Disney Visa card, but I figured with some of the discounts and offers that come along with it, I would go ahead and sign up, especially to be able to get a neat extra Disney watch.

In case you are considering signing up for the card (and are also a Disney shareholder), the link that appears on the flyer for the offer is:
www.disneyvisawatch.com

There is also a phone number (1-800-549-4154) and a key code for the offer, however, I wasn't asked to provide the code when I signed up for it and the website doesn't seem to mention the code.

I did the same as DaveK. Didn't plan to get the card, but the watch for shareholders and the posibility that future discounts might be hard to get if not a card holder swayed me. The website and phone number are exclusive to that offer according to the Visa rep I talked to, so they know you get the watch rather than one of the other current incentives once you use your card. -HM

Called yesterday and I'll be getting my card. If AP's come out I got that too!!!! BRING IT ON!!!

Airhead, If you can book the the 7 for 4 deal (if it's still available for your resort and date) that would be your best best. I was told that that is the best deal going, even better than AP rates if they are to come available based upon past rates. However, I was also told that these are hard to come by so if you can get your card sent UPS to you right after you are approved you'll save some time. Mine got to me the day after I requested it.

They won't be able to just apply the code to your existing reservation~it doesn't work that way with the 7 for 4 deal.

I booked this room a year ago,no package. Can I still apply the discount from the Visa card?

There is a room only code through Disney Visa, I believe the code is CTV, and you can apply that right to the ressie you have now if those discounts are still available. However, the 7 for 4 deal is a package and there are a limited amount of rooms available for this discount. If they are all gone, they will not let you just apply it to an existing ressie anyway. Again, the 7 for 4 is a Dreamaker package, that is~ it includes the UPH for the length of your stay. (did I make that clear?)
