Wow! Anyone who has booked should read this -- esp. if LMT is going to send you a 1099 and claim that your booking was a prize! I thought an earlier posters said it wasn't considered a prize because you paid $1 for it. Interesting...Making me re-think all this, and a little glad I hesitated when I got the timer on Friday morning. Thanks livindisney!

I have Internet explorer, and downloaded something called "my refresher"...it was easy to do and works well...my question is this...Will having a refresher on the hotel page affect the popup videos and timer? Meaning, will they disappear or reload each time the page refreshes, or do i need to quickly "stop refresh" once i notice the popup video/timer? i would hate to do all this only to have it disappear as soon as it comes up.....

I just downloaded my refresher too and wondering if there will be a notification of change with a sound. I haven't heard anything yet and can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

I am not surprised YouTube banned the one striptease video. My kids were in the room when I thought I would watch the clue videos last week and had to turn it off. Classy company. Feelin' better about my decision to steer clear! And paying taxes on the value of the hotel?? Good thing I didn't get what I really wanted - the Poly during spring break!! Thanks for posting those links!!

I got the standard reply that someone would contact me in 4 hours, but now it is more like 4 days and I have not heard from them.

I got one night at CBR through LMT - already had that night booked through disney, will need to cancel my ressie booked through disney when I know they DO have my LMT one, but am nervous that LMT really did go through.

Since they aren't asking for your social or making you sign an affidavit for winning a prize, there is no way for them to 1099 you for the value of the hotel. So there goes that theory!

I would try the regular number for central reservations. Did you book a room for in the near future? I think I read on this thread that LMT only transfers the ressies to WDW about a month out?

I think you need to be within 30days of your ressie to get the number; at least that is what I get from reading other sites.

You know, I am confused by this too. The sale says it is 1.00 a night. And you have to provide a CC. But lots of people are reporting they have gotten emails and phone calls saying the rooms are free.

I just don't know (Insert unsure smilie here LOL)
