I just found out I'm PREGNANT!

I don't have any advice for you except to do what feels right for you (and your doctor) and congratulations!! You just may find the new baby becomes your obsession over Disney for just a little while anyway: ;) Good luck!

CONGRATULATIONS! - I just found out I am pregnant also! I am at 7 weeks now!

During my first pregnancy my husband and I did that last hurrah trip thing when I was 24 weeks along - six months for novice pregos. We went on a Caribbean cruise. That is the last time they will allow you to cruise. I felt great, BUT, I was a mess when I think back on it. I had terrible indigestion and I could not stay up later than 9 pm every night so we missed most of the entertainment at night. Pregnancy at that point is when you begin to experience the whole clutszies thing. I spraigned my ankle really badly while in Barbados.

BUT I felt great and would not have given up that trip.. I just wish now that we had done it a little earlier in the pregnancy to hit the period that you really do start to coast - about 5 months along. But all pregnancies are different.

I am now planning my last hurrah trip for this pregnancy - last hurrah before traveling anywhere becomes a nightmare. I have pondered the possibilities and WDW is an easy choice because we have a condo down in Cocoa Beach but its the last choice for me as I just don't want to be walking through the parks pregnant in the heat - not a vacation to me. I want to sit on a lounge chair, sip my virgin pina coladas and read a book and not move for seven days.

Just me. I think everyone has given you great tips here. You need to just leave a little wiggle room in your plans, and just have fun! If WDW is where you want to be, then by all means GO! Enjoy your pregnancy - it really is such a special time! Hopefully you will feel great the entire time!

I would still go. :) Next time you will have a baby anyway and will be tough to ride the stuff you want still. :) Unless you bring help or hire one of them in room sitters.

There is a ton of adult not ride things to do.

Or you might consider doing Sea World one day there is a ton of stuff for a pregnant woman to do there.

Epcot will be fun still, just take it slow. It will be a nice pre-baby vacation. :) Spend the lovely time with your DH because believe me once the baby comes your time alone together will be limited for months. :) I know I have a nearly 11 month old baby girl.

Congratulations, that's wonderful!

The early trip should be fine, just make sure to watch for things that cause you nausea, if it's certain things. If you get really tired (I was ALWAYS tired though both my pregnancies), take a break. Listen to your body, it will tell you when it's time to stop. Drink lots of water, eat as well as you can, etc.

The second trip I would check with your doc and make sure he/she thinks it's ok. I don't want to scare you at all, but when I was in my 6th month with my 2nd pregnancy I started passing out if I would stand or walk for more than 15-20 minutes at a time. Needless to say, there wouldn't have been a WDW trip for me! At 7 months with both my pgs I was forbidden to go any further than an hour from home by my doc. Ha! Little did she know, we went car shopping 2-1/2 hours away when I was 36 weeks along with the first one! Well, she did find out, because that's the same day I went into labor....it was actually back labor, and I didn't know it until 4 days later when I went to an appt complaining about my aching back! Probably would have happened anyway, but I started feeling pain about an hour and 15minutes into the drive! Something else to consider is how far of a drive it will be for you at that time; riding in a car can get very uncomfortable later in pregnancy if you're going very far. I'm not sure if they will allow you to fly at that point in a pregnancy or not.

All that aside, if your pregnancy is going well, if you're feeling up to it, if you can take it easy, relax, and not try to do everything, you should go. Your life will change in a big (awesome, but big) way not too long after you get home, and there won't be the possibility of a trip ilke this for a LONG time to come. I would take the docs phone # (including after hours # if it's different) in case you have a problem, and find out if you don't already know, where local hospitals are, just in case.

Enjoy your trips, and enjoy your pregnancy, it doesn't last long!

I went when I was 5mos and to DL at 7mos. We just did everything at a slower pace than usual. When DH went on the rides I couldn't go on I sat on a bench and relaxed. I didn't feel like I missed out because I knew we'd be back.

We are planning on going this October, I'll be 7 1/2mos pregnant, with a 17mo and almost 4yo.

As has been said several times, it just depends on your pregnancy. I threw up all day every day for nine months. It was the most miserable nine months of my life!! I am SOOOO blessed to have my DS (2), but I do not yet have another one, LOL!!!

A WDW trip would not have been feasible for me, simply because I was so sick and felt so rotten the whole time. However, if you are feeling good and have a pretty worry free pregnancy, I would say do it! DH and I tried to have lots of "special" dates the last couple of months before DS arrived, and we have so many great memories. For the one in December, plan to take it very slow. Consider what you'll miss being able to do most after your little one arrives~a peaceful dinner at a nice place, Citricos, maybe?, or wandering through the World Showcase at a leisurely pace...and do those things. Also, I believe you can get special pregnancy spa treatments at the GF, so you might want to check into that.

We are planning DS's 4th and 5th trips right now (Sept and Dec), and it is so much fun with him, but we have wonderful memories of our pre-DS WDW trips, as well!

And think of what a cute addition to the baby book a pregnant picture of you with Mickey would be!!

Forgot to mention~we did go sans baby when he was 11 mos old. My sis and bro-in-law lived near Orlando at the time, so we stayed with them a weekend, and they kept DS one day so we could go to the parks. We did all our favorite rides, and had a great time, but I'll tell you, we missed the little guy! The next trip, he came along with us, and, as I said, is now looking forward to trips #4 and 5.
