I just don't understand...

My friend is in the process of adopting her second newborn from the US. Her first just turned 1 last August and this baby is due in April. She put an ad in and both times got numerous responses. I don't understand how she does it as I know people who wait for years and then go to another country because they can't find one her.

OK, sorry, I know what you mean, any baby regardless of everything else... But what would you have said if they call and offered a kitten?

Well, I would have said no!


BTW: I meant it may not necessarily take longer in the US than overseas, the ones that you hear of that take years are usually wanting a perfectly healthy caucasian gender specific baby. And we did get a perfectly healthly caucasian boy, but his mom did do drugs which is why we got him. They didn't affect him, 10lbs 3oz at birth, healthy as a horse!
