:I read these forums all the time and I am so envious of all the people who not only go to Disney once a year but in some lucky cases twice.
I regularly check all the various airlines, the holiday operators, the disney UK and US sites all in the vain hope of snagging a small discount of any sort but I can never ,ever, ever, ever find one.
I am in Ireland so obviously I have less choice flying from here than if I was in the Uk and if I could find a better deal by going to the UK I have to factor in the additional cost of getting there and back as well.

There are five of us and my 2 eldest are adults where flights are concerned and because of school and work we can unfortunately only travel at peak times so I know that these factors contribute greatly to the cost .
When we travelled last year over Easter flights , accomodation and car hire cost 9850 euro. Tickets , food ,shopping etc was of course extra. I am trying to get quotes for end of June next year and so far its coming in at flights, accomodation, carhire and disney tickets 11,000 euro. Then we need to add food ,shopping,a trip to see Harry potter so it quickly gets very expensive.

Are these the kind of figures that you all end up with for 5 travelling at holiday times or am I a really poor bargain hunter?:confused3:confused3

Holidays next year are definately looking more expensive than previous years.

However if you give us some details prehaps we could look for you?

What dates are you looking to travel
What sort of accomodation are you looking for? onsite vs offsite - hotel or Villa etc
Are you wanting an direct flight? or would indirect be an option for you?

Just had a quick look on Disney UK for 2 weeks from 18th APril (not sure when your wanting to go)

14 day Disney Tickets are £1200 (5 adults as i wasnt sure if you youngest was under 9)
2 rooms at all stars music is £2492
Flights from Gatwick with Virgin are - £3000 (again 4 Adults and 1 child)

So thats £6692 or about 7800 Euros depending on the exchange rate??!

If you go indirect you can get cheaper flights, if you stay off site you can get cheaper accomodation. All depends on what you are after!

hi Laura ,
I have been pricing for one week onsite deluxe hotel and one week offsite in a villa so of course you are correct if I looked for 2 weeks offsite it would bring the price down .
i just wanted to ask the question because so often on holiday you meet fellow travellers who are in the same accomodation , at the same time as yourself but they got it for 500 euro less than you paid .
going on your figures it looks like the prices I'm getting are about right. I just wondered if there was a knack to this that i don't possess.
Thanks for the feed back:thumbsup2
