I just came back from a week at WDW and I stayed in POFQ (it's not what it used to be)...........I just booked for November we are going to stay at POP. My last experience at a moderate resort wasn't that great...........I tried to get resie at the BC but they were all booked up. I here so many GOOD things about POP. When I get back from November trip I'll book for summer 2008, I'm sure to get the BC then.

Did I make a good choice? I hope so.

I think so, but you will read pros and cons about all value resorts. Have you searched for the POP thread to read all about it?

Buildings 1,3,4 and 5 are close to Classic Hall. But, you will read good and "bad" about all buildings.

What were the issues at POFQ. I wen there on my honeymoon 15 years ago and it was great. Pop is my new favoriate resort, but it is much bigger then POFQ and can be hectic. The two are very different resorts. I recommended it to a girl at work, because me and my family love it so much and she hated it. If you are looking for somthing fancy, Pop might not be for you, if you are looking for a fun resort that feels like one the parks, you will love it.

So what didn't you like about POFQ? :confused3 If you give us more detailed info, we might be able to tell if you will like POP or not.

I started this thread when I came back last week.

POFQ was my favorite as well, but they lost there magic. IMO it is tired and old, even the food court doesn't have anything to offer, I looked at the POP menu to see what they have to offer, and they have way more. I have been to the other moderate resorts, which I had great experiences with, I think after this past experience I need to try something new.

We were at POFQ last month and had a great time. I will say that the food court does need some work. There needs to be more food options and more staffing but that seems to be a problem in alot of Disney. The CM's were very nice and the room was clean and fresh looking. The bus service was very good too. I hope you had a nice trip despite the problems at POFQ and enjoy POP this fall.
